- HFHeath FlowersDec 2, 20251.0We traveled to see family at Thanksgiving. I booked directly online. I did receive the room I booked, which was a big room, and the front desk clerk was very friendly. That's the good. Our room was on the second floor. We took the stairs. Do they ever clean the stairways? The main hallway was even worse! Do they own a vacuum - let alone use one? The (used to be nice) carpet looked like someone dripped bleach all down the hallway and it hadn't been cleaned since who knows when. Our room was decently clean. Everything seemed fine until it was time to go to sleep. I think they must have gotten their beds from the 1 star motel down the road after they tossed them out. Seriously.....these were the WORST beds I have ever tried to sleep on in a hotel. Pick your worst motel (and as a fisherman/hunter I've stayed in some sketchy places) but these mattresses are far worse than what you can imagine! You could feel the springs all the way through as if there was no padding. As a whole, this property is NOT IHG quality. Go somewhere else until they clean the place up and make it comfortable.
