Desk attendant was very clear speaking. Rooms were very clean.
My complaint is the mattress needs to be replaced it caved towards the middle, pillows were good.
Room would not stay cool, woke up several times HOT. Window shade chain was broke could not open to let light in. Had to go down to desk to get a main remote in order to switch the TV to the correct HDMI in order to watch tv, once you turn TV off you could not watch again without going back to front desk to get the master remote.
A child or elderly person would be unable to open the door to the room due to it being so heavy and if you didn't keep a hold of door it would slam shut on you. It almost knocked us down a couple of times and we are in our late 50's. Hallways were hot . Breakfast was not suitable.
If you wouldn't serve this in your home why would you serve this to other people.
They also charge taxes that are just a scam in my eyes I have never seen another hotel charge these taxes.
Taxes:
State, local, city, tourism, CVB
If their charging tourism tax they shouldn't charge local tax. Someone may not even be traveling, might just need a room due to repairs at home or live in the state, they shouldn't pay tourism tax because there not tourists and If you pay tourists tax don't charge local tax.
CBD tax stands for Convention and visitors bureau for advertising and promotion. So why is tourist paying for this? Shouldn't this be for state to fund.
Animals were in building that were not service dogs.
The decorations is more suitable for a college dorm, pool table by breakfast area, seating were cubes around the pool table area. Alot of there amenities seemed to be focused on people in there early 20's. The bulk of the tourists are going to be older and mature, this place had the feeling of an adult play ground. This hotel is not for mature adults.
Overall would not recommend.

It's 2025 and hamilton still makes you wait 30 minutes for their system to reset. Kindof pathetic for a chain, dont make tired travelers wait an extra 30 minutes because you cant hire any number of 16 year olds to fix your archaic system. Super friendly staff :)

We stopped overnight.
Pros: Staff was friendly. The rooms are small but clean. All the essentials. Breakfast bar is standard but staff was refreshing it all the way till 10am. Cool pool table. Great location!
Cons: a noisy group was outside till nearly midnight. Ask for a room on the front side. The firepit is on the backside. The walls etc are also thin, so you will hear everything.
