I had a perfectly nice experience here. The front desk people were all very nice and the room was super comfortable! It was clean And the bedding was very comfortable. There were large, soft pillows, and the bed stayed made. The bottom sheets didn’t come off if you moved around. I loved the neighborhood. It was old and very walkable. I travel with my dogs and we really enjoyed walking through the neighborhoods and looking at the old houses and just one block away is a park that also has a dog park area.
They don’t have a breakfast though. That’s a bummer. I thought everyone gave you breakfast these days. Also, their underground parking lot really needs to be power washed. It looks like it has never been washed out and it smells very bad from the trash bin. I have one other complaint and that was the housekeepers on the first Evening. They were yelling back-and-forth to each other from five rooms away. That’s pretty inconsiderate and unprofessional.
Maybe I should take one star off because of those things, but I was so happy with the room, the front desk, staff, and the walkable Neighborhood for under $100 a night that I want to Let other people know this is a great choice for under $100.

Nice hotel, staff was friendly, everything looked clean (except the mirror wall in the elevator, but I'd sure hate to be the one trying to keep fingerprints off that thing, so I won't judge them for that. Doors in breakfast area also had a lot of fingerprints, but aside from the glass needing cleaning, everything looked great. TV in the room was pretty small compared to other hotels I've been to, but it worked well enough for us. They could use some USB ports. There was one on the side of the TV, but if it charged at all, it was very slow, and the inconvenience of the phone cord not being by the bed was a bit of a pain. Breakfast is the typical Holiday Inn menu and costs $10.99 for a buffet style, however the food was not super fresh when we were there, maybe we just hit bad timing, it was around 8:45. Breakfast Attendant was very nice and helpful as were front desk staff. Plenty of free parking and it was an easy location to get to. I'd recommend this hotel.

I didn’t stay at the hotel but attended a conference there for the last two days. I met the same custodial worker both days and he was so nice, which is why I am giving this rating.

We enjoyed the location, MacArthur Historical and close to the river market and other tourist destinations. Air worked well in the room. King standard was large with plenty of space and bed was comfortable. Room was updated and in good condition. Housekeeping, front desk, and restaurant staff were friendly, professional, and accommodating. Good value and able to use IHG points.
