So, let me say I'd really like to give this hotel 4.5 stars. But based on service and location I'm not able too. The two biggest issues I had were when my family and I came in after our event was over, Katie?, asked if we wanted a crib for our baby. I said yes, thank you! I didn't know that was even an option. We spoke for a while and she promised to bring the crib up immediately. After showering and putting the older kids down I went back down to get Tylenol and check on the crib. She had forgotten about it. She apologized and said she'd bring it right up. My wife and I fell asleep waiting. Needless to say we never got the crib. So, the next issue is parking. As others mentioned, there is a $10 parking fee for the very tight and very limited parking in the concrete lot behind the hotel. If you have a car seat or small children this is not a convenient place to park if you can even get a spot. The second option is a very rough gravel/dirt parking lot immediately behind the concrete one. It is sort of fenced in, but basically open to the public with a huge pothole right in the middle of the only entrance. It was dry when we stayed here, but others mentioned it being muddy when wet. This is in the middle of Little Rock and you have to pay to park there. Gravel/mud should not be in the equation. Since the hotel owns and charges to park there they should pave it. Another issue is the no smoking policy is clearly not enforced at this location due to the elevators smelling like weed frequently. As others have mentioned, the breakfast is pretty good. Veggie omelettes, cheese omelettes, sausage, potatoes, biscuits and gravy etc. No issues at all with the breakfast food. It was very good in fact. The room was clean and comfortable. The wall thermostat was broke and had a sign saying parts on order, but we could still control the temp from the unit itself. Also had a small damaged spot on the wall behind the shower door that looked like it could possibly be in the early stages of mold. I did NOT see mold, just previous damage. Ample towel and hand towels, but only 3 wash clothes. And the remote for the TV decided to quit the next morning before checkout. If they'd pave the gravel parking lot and follow through on their promises I'd happily give this place a 4 despite the minor issues. And I would recommend/stay here again. Just disappointed in the service and parking.

We recently stayed at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites Little Rock Downtown and overall, the experience was decent — with a few disappointments that were thankfully redeemed the next morning. We specifically booked this hotel because it advertised an indoor pool, but unfortunately the pool heater was broken and the water was frigid. That was a big letdown, especially when traveling and hoping to relax. The room itself was comfortable enough, but it could have used a deeper clean — we noticed insects inside the bathroom light fixture. Additionally, because of the downtown location, sirens could be heard throughout the night, which made for lighter sleep than we would have preferred. Parking is another thing to be aware of. Paved parking is limited and $10 payment is part of room deposit, and depending on availability, you may end up parking in a muddy lot. Now for the redeeming part of the stay — the morning staff completely turned the experience around. We were greeted by the friendliest front desk and breakfast team we have ever encountered. Marcus and team were top notch! Their dedication to making sure every single guest felt welcomed and taken care of was truly impressive. The continental breakfast was the cleanest, freshest, and best kept we’ve seen at any hotel. Everything was well-stocked, organized, and maintained with care. While the evening had its drawbacks, the outstanding hospitality and exceptional breakfast service made a lasting positive impression. With a few improvements, this hotel has the potential to be a top-notch stay in downtown Little Rock.

I think that it is pretty crazy you book a hotel room and pay for that stay and at check in you are told you have to pay for parking? What is going on? $10 a day to park! Literally just ripping customers off! Horrible.

The hotel was very clean and well kept. The staff were exceptionally friendly. The morning breakfast has a good selection. The food was well presented and the dining area is very clean. The room was very clean and had no broken items. The heat and AC worked well. The bathroom is large and there was plenty of room at the sink. The bed was comfortable and there was ample pillows and blankets. The hotel is located right by a major highway and there is an ambulance base nearby. This made the room noisy at night. It is near the Arkansas River and Clinton Library, but there is not a lot of dining options within safe walking distance. I felt the hotel was a excellent value and I will stay again on my next business trip to Little Rock.

A truly wonderful experience. Katey was so kind and helpful at check-in, Marcus made sure everything was just perfect for me for breakfast, and Itzel was amazing at check-out and helped me out with my every need. They were all so attentive and accommodating!! I was well taken care of! I needed a one night stay while driving across the states. This was perfect and so accessible right near the highway so it didn't slow down my travels. I will definitely make this my stop when I make this drive again!! Thank you all for everything!
