  The man behind the counter who was supposed to help me check in was the most unprofessional and rude person I've ever experienced in this field. He was very dismissive and even ignored me while talking to him. He gave me my room key with no direction as to where it was. He then just walks away to his office. I rang the bell to get him to come back out, but he never returned. I then had to wonder around the campus to find the room myself (this hotel has an awkward layout). I told the staff about my experience the next day, but they didn't seem to care much. I would not recommend this place. The rooms aren't bad, but their customer service is TERRIBLE. That will be their downfall.

  2 stars purely because its close to base. I came into town for a baby shower and this place disappointed like crazy. Before we even got there, the lady on the phone was rude, condescending and interrupted me constantly. Next we get to our room, 130, at 1130 at night. As soon as you walk in it smells like as my husband put it, someone was microwaving week old fish before we got there. The bed is hard as a rock with pillows that wouldn't even be standard size on a twin bed. The bathtub was disgusting. When we checked out the next morning I informed the guy at the front desk of the smell and they where already aware the room smelled and what it smelled like. That is unacceptable. 10/10 do not recommend

  I give it 5 stars because it definitely met my expectations. Price was right, room was very clean and tidy. Everything worked as it should, zero issues.

  The people who run this Best Western in Jacksonville, AR are RUDE! Not happy to have customers come to their establishment obviously by their behavior! You will see when you stay there. I "always" request a downstairs room, whenever I travel. I did the same here, in the message to the hotel prior to stay, I put "request a downstairs room". Days later, when I arrive to check in, I was told that I requested an upstairs room. I knew things were off to a rough start when he lied about that. The manager then on the spot says downstairs room cost $20.00 more. This place does not value customers. He did not care that I requested & wanted a downstairs room. He did not care that I had messaged their property days before specifying downstairs room. He further was not inclined to give me a downstairs room when surely some, probably a whole lot were available. I saw very few cars in the parking lot the days I stayed, so there was obviously a whole lot of empty downstairs rooms. I had to keep the upstairs room. Some people request downstairs room due to issues with walking up & down stairs & being disabled. The hotel, rooms, outside are all clean. Those are not a problem. They will not give you a receipt even when you ask for one. They are not going to comply with any request that you request. I did not feel comfortable at this due to their behavior & won't be back. There are at least 5 other hotels all are a few feet from each other, no need to deal with this place!
