  The staff was amazing, friendly and super helpful. The breakfast was good with a good amount of options we ate it both days. The fresh cookies everyday is a very nice touch. The only reason I gave 3 stars is our room was not very clean. Lots of debris on the floor, splatters of who knows what in several different areas and a banana sticker on the fire alarm. It definitely felt like it should've been cleaner. Also very thin walls, we could hear everyone around us both nights. Again the staff was amazing and the location is great for getting to downtown. I just wish the room was clean, especially for the price we paid.

  Great stay over the weekend — room was clean and the TV screen had a cute ‘Welcome’ note for us. Peggy was the sweetest server during breakfast, but the food options could be a little bit better though

  The Hampton Inn in Hot Springs AK What can I say other than it was overall very disappointing especially for the price. I have stayed in MANY hotels over the past 4 years. Usually, for the price we paid, I would’ve expected more. I will say that staff was very friendly and willing to answer questions. Unfortunately, there were several issues. The room service offered a fully functional tv with different streaming services as well as live tv. None of which worked. This specific hotel is a pet friendly hotel, which, I’m perfectly fine with….when the owners of the pets staying are RESPONSIBLE. If your dog wants to lunge at strangers coming out of the elevator, you should probably not have them stay in a public space. Get control of your dog and apologize for his behavior, which is your responsibility to gage if he is a threat to others or not. This is also a non-smoking hotel. Yet, the occupants next to us were actively smoking marajuana at night. It was so bad it was seeping through to our room. Not everyone enjoys smelling pot. No complimentary water was offered at any point in time during our stay. I will say that Ms. Peggy that works breakfast was the sweetest and most helpful person. Always had a friendly smile and a warm welcome as soon as you see her. Thank you ms. Peggy for your help and kindness! You are a ray of sunshine!
