  I stayed overnight at the Hampton Inn in Forrest City this week. The location is good, close to the freeway, but also quiet at night. There is a good Mexican restaurant, Jose's, within walking distance. The room was nice, but I am taking a star off, because the lighting was not adequate for reading. work and picking out clothes from my suitcase in the morning. The tall lamp in the corner was not working and there was a tiny work lamp on the desk. All the lighting came from the lights between the beds. The bathroom lighting was great. I have noticed that several of the Hampton Inns have poor lighting compared to other brand hotels that I stay at regularly. Put in brighter lights, please! The staff was great, very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good! There was bacon, cooked potatoes and egg white fritatas as the hot items, which I usually don't find on the Hampton Inn breakfast menu. I really liked the fritata. There were several other food choices, juice, a pitcher of iced water and cold milk, which I appreciate. I like adding milk to my coffee. Overall, a really good hotel, but the rooms need. better lighting.

  This is our first vacation in 6 years. Upon checking in, we were greeted, even though the desk attendant was talking with another guest. She was delightful! Weird smell to entire hotel but she stated they had just renovated. Slept really well and was super quiet! Breakfast was our FAVORITE part! Amazing variety! Freshness was outstanding! Lady working it was delightful and quick to keep it clean and stocked!

  I'm a lifetime Hilton diamond status and when I see a really high quality property I like to stop and write a review The recent RENOVATION has made this Hampton Inn a really great hotel in this area! Everything is brand new and the workmanship is excellent. The staff folks are all so welcoming, including Rhonda, the front desk clerk when I checked in. The breakfast foods were delicious and the place was really clean. We got a nice surprise when the owner stopped by and personally created the guests. He also stopped to say hello to his housekeeping staff member and he personally asked how they were doing. It was a delight to spend two days here. Prices were reasonable and certainly better than the nearby Memphis prices FIVE STARS!

  Nice rooms friendly staff, a small hiccup on reservations due to my own fault, they quickly fixed it for me and thankful had a room for us. Thank you Ronda for being so helpful, this is our 3rd time choosing this location
