  We always stay at holiday inn express for these reasons. When traveling we book as we go since travel times may vary for the location well be closest to. * always good access from a highway. We typically travel with out boat trailer. * always clean rooms. Ours this time was newly remodeled. Very nice shower * hot breakfast. That's at least $20 and saves an hour of time compared to a restaurant * Good prices. I look up availability on line but call the location to book. I usually get additional discounts

  They were remodeling, but the beds were comfy, and the breakfast was good. Nice place to stay. Photo of rusted drain doesn't impact taking a shower, and the room was clean, it's for the hotel to know it's rusted.

  We checked in on a Sunday and at first everything seemed fine. We noticed the room was a bit run down but overall it was fine. On Tuesday night around 11pm our ac unit started filling our room with a very potent smoke smell, we went to the front desk and one of the ladies was very helpful and got us into a new room that night on the second floor. Once we got to the new room there was blood on a towel in the bathroom and blood on the sheet but since it was past midnight at this point and we have a 3 year old we just stripped the sheet and didn’t complain. But then the next day construction was started directly above us. They completely failed to mention this when switching our rooms. My toddler was unable to nap due to the power tools and hammering directly above our beds. We thought maybe it would just be for that afternoon but then my toddler was woken up at 8 am the next day due to the power tools once again. I called the front desk to ask them if there was any way they could not use power tools right above our bed at 8am and the guy just laughed and said there was nothing he could do. At this point I am very upset with the entire stay because it was nothing but a headache and waste of money. I would have rather stayed at motel 6. Do not waste your money coming here. Update: we now has disgusting water coming up through our sink drain too! This hotel is literally the worst hotel I have EVER stayed in.
