    We stayed at this hotel a few times before. The rooms are clean, its conveniently located, and the rate is excellent. Last night, after checking in, the toilet wouldn't flush and it overflowed. We called the desk and they said, "we will bring you a plunger, but we aren't fixing it." I called corporate to see if that would do anything and they called the location and responded, "that location is independently owned so there is nothing we can do, and he said he isn't fixing it." It was late so we decided to deal with it in the morning and we went to sleep. I go to the front desk first thing in the morning, they said no other rooms were available, but maybe they could get me one later in the day. They said no one was there that could fix it, but hopefully they could do that later in the day. I told them not having a working toilet for a full day was unacceptable and I asked for a refund so I could get a room somewhere else for my second night in town. They told me that refunds are against their policy. We left and booked a room somewhere else... we are very disappointed, this was becoming our go to spot when visiting Fayetteville. We will never stay there again.

    I rented one night from the local desk then added two more online. Was told by the man working yesterday I was good to go, that the lady could stay in the same room for all 3 nights. There must have been a miscommunication between him and the receptionist today because she ended up kicking the lady out as she couldn’t find my online reservation right away. This was particularly troublesome as we have about 9 inches of snow on the ground and the temperature is dropping to 1° tonight and she is on foot. When I tried to call to see what happened she must’ve known my name from the reservation because she wouldn’t pick up after multiple calls. When I borrowed my daughter’s phone, she answered right away. We don’t have a problem with the motel or even the man I spoke to yesterday. But the lady we dealt with today (she wouldn’t give her name) We feel handled things pretty horribly. She also had the woman staying trespassed. When the cops arrived she only showed them the receipt where I had rented the first night. This is after she discovered that I had in fact payed for 2 more nights. They did cancel, not charge my card and send me cancellation confirmation via email…so that’s good but this has left us having to get out on icy roads in order to get her somewhere safe and warm.

    My girlfriend almost tripped two times over a cord that was ran from somebody's work truck to the top floor their room under their door completely hidden from view in the dark when we brought it to the attention of the front desk the lady was very rude inconsiderate and just nasty this is January 24th 2026 9:36 a.m. Hoover was working at that time should not have a job anymore
