- MRMichele Richard6 days ago3.0I have never felt so unwelcome at check in. Walked in from outside behind me with no greeting just a terse “name?” I tried greeting with a how are you and was ignored. Thought maybe she didn’t hear me.. continue check in with no eye contact absolutely no warmth. Stated my card didn’t go through (odd since I paid online?). Wanted the tag number of my vehicle and to be honest in my entire life no hotel has ever cared if I don’t recall the tag as long as I give make and model. “Sorry I don’t know tag” came back with a rude “then you’re gonna have to go get it” Okay so I walk outside to go find my husband and car and write that down. Told her I was sorry she was having a bad day which she of course also argued with. Plopped the key down and told me what floor and I had to ask what time is breakfast. Made me feel like I was creating a problem just by arriving to the room I booked. Room was typical and seemed clean. No milk at breakfast because “it expired” Lucky this was a quick one night stop on a very long road trip as I would not want to stay somewhere I am not welcome.

Mold all along the bathtub grout and the tub was either badly discolored or dirty. I refused to use it. When I mentioned this to front desk at checkout, the response was, “Oh, I don’t know how that could’ve happened. I will say something to maintenance.” This was not a new thing in this bathroom.

The hotel looks newly updated, rooms are clean, beds are comfortable, there’s a great pool and hot tub, and tea and coffee in the lobby always. Hotel even printed something for me when the printer was broken!

I had to ask for cleaning support to clean the room myself and prayed that the sheets on the bed were indeed fresh.
