  We had a very pleasant stay at Hotel Crown Plaza overall. The hotel is beautiful, the food was delicious, and the staff in most areas were kind and professional. We especially loved the chocolate ice cream it was amazing 😊 Uday was extremely kind, welcoming, and attentive throughout. However, we had a very uncomfortable experience at the spa with a staff member named Ella (short blonde hair). When we arrived, she asked where we were from. I said that I was from Serbia, and she immediately responded with questions like: “Why did you come here from Serbia?” and commented about Serbia and Albania being in conflict. It made me feel very uncomfortable and unwelcome. Later, when my boyfriend went to order a coffee, she asked him where he was from. He replied Montenegro, and then she questioned why I had said I was from Serbia. The whole interaction felt inappropriate and unprofessional, especially in a 5-star hotel where guests come to relax and feel welcomed regardless of nationality. We came for a short vacation and truly enjoyed the hotel itself, but this situation unfortunately left a bad impression on us. I hope management takes this feedback seriously so that future guests do not experience something similar.

  SPA We booked only the spa, not the full hotel package. In general it is very nice, but as an external guest it can be quite uncomfortable. First of all, no hairdryer in the changing rooms is provided, as well as soap. We needed to ask for both. The showers are too tiny and built in a way that one cannot enter if weights more than 50 kilos. The pool water is not crystal clear, one could even say a bit torbid. No drinks are provided and the floor can be extremely slippery, especially with the slippers they offer. I would recommend it only if one has already paid for the hotel, but it's not worth the 50 euros per person they ask for when you buy only the spa entrance. Massages prices are too high. PS: A few pros: the view, sauna and room with salt, emotional showers and overall clean environment.

  After a long and exhausting drive from Montenegro into Albania, arriving here felt like finally being able to breathe again. The room was modern, quiet, and very comfortable. After such a difficult travel day, this hotel felt almost like a reward. One funny moment happened when the automatic curtains opened. My earbud suddenly fell from the 12th floor, and I honestly thought it was gone forever. But one of the staff members found it and brought it back to me. That kindness alone made this stay unforgettable. Hello Voyager 🧭

  This was a last minute holiday and boy were we glad we had chosen the Crowne Plaza which is still very new. I have worked in travel all my life and what makes a hotel stand out from the rest always comes down to the staff. We can't thank these beautiful people enough as they were so attentive and nothing was ever too much. So to our new friends Julieta, Gabriel, Kleo, Klint and Ayoub who brought a smile to our faces every day of our stay thank you. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a hotel that has great facilities and great food then don't hesitate to book here. Make you say hi to our faves.

  I recently stayed at Crowne Plaza Durrës by IHG and had an excellent experience overall. The hotel is brand new, modern, and extremely well maintained, with spacious and spotless rooms offering beautiful views of the sea. The location is ideal, right on the waterfront and within easy reach of Durrës city center. One of the highlights was definitely the staff, who were always professional, welcoming, and attentive throughout the stay. I especially appreciated the spa and pool area, which felt elegant and very relaxing. The hotel successfully combines comfort, luxury, and genuine hospitality, making it a great choice for both leisure and business trips. It truly brings an international standard of hospitality to Durrës. Highly recommended, especially if you book a sea-view room.
