Location is conveniently in the center of several local restraints, shops, and of course the university. Rooms are clean with friendly and helpful staff. I had the pleasure of being checked in by Cedrick who was especially attentive to my needs and hilarious.

We had a wedding to attend that started at 3, and check-in is at 4. We called the morning of the wedding to ask if there was anyway we could check in early to get ready for the wedding. Sedrick took care of us! We got us a room, and it is fantastic! Thank you Sedrick for helping us and making sure we felt welcome!

Ariel was more than helpful with directions very knowledgeable about the area is definitely an asset to the Hilton. Angel Was awesome with breakfast and her display made everything taste better. Cedric Helped us check in as a flight crew. We don’t get much help in that department was knowledgeable about the entire area, hotel, and friendly and professional.

Have you ever been blessed by an angel? Well I have and her name is Mae! Going far beyond service and accommodation that I have ever received from a hotel staff member. Not only was she pleasant and nice from the moment I walked in but she also made sure I had a smile on my face each time we interacted. From being thoughtful and kind to describing every detail about our room and experience, it made me feel like I was at home away from home. If you are in Tuscaloosa and need a place to stay, this is it. I just hope that Mae is there to make your experience as pleasant and awesome as she did for us. Will be back 1000/10

I have mixed feelings about this hotel. This hotel isn't horrible to stay at, but I would probably stay somewhere else next time. Pros: Safety, Location, Utility, Service Safety: I never felt unsafe at any point during my stay. Location: This hotel is conveniently located near the University of Alabama and downtown Tuscaloosa. They also have roadside parking as well as a decent-sized lot adjacent to the hotel. Room Utility: This room has one of the best layouts I have ever seen. The kitchen area has a full-sized fridge with a freezer. This was really nice to have when we had leftovers from eating out. I didn't use it, but there is also a dishwasher and sink. The bathroom was pretty standard. I forgot to take a picture, but there is a retractable curtain separating the bed from the seating/couch area. This would be a great way to have some more privacy if sharing a room with someone. Service: The front desk staff was great! Cedric was kind and made check-in easy. Later in my stay, I asked for more pillows and another gentleman (didn't get his name) gave me some with no issues. Pro/Con: Breakfast This hotel has a hot breakfast, which was nice, as some hotels only offer things like muffins and fruit. The breakfast was average. They had sausage, eggs, oatmeal, etc. which was fine but the bacon tasted like it was 3-D printed. Cons: Bed, One (1) Cockroach Bed: I felt that the mattress was very uncomfortable. People have different preferences, but I felt that the mattress was very hard. The comforter I felt was also kind of thin. Cockroach: I may be overreacting, but we saw a (large) cockroach scurry across the kitchen floor. Luckily it was only one, but for me it was one too many, and it made me question the cleanliness of the room. Overall, I would say this hotel is truly average. It wasn't awful staying here but there are probably better places to stay.
