I haven’t even checked in yet and I have a complaint. I called the front desk to see if my room was ready. A female employee answered. No hello, no pleasantries whatsoever. Upon answering the phone she said, I can’t assist you right now, I’m busy.” Then she hung up. Hopefully the experience improves when actually arrive. Post visit update. Aside from the front desk initially not being able to locate our reservation and the unfriendly call mentioned already, no additional issues. Clean, staff was friendly, continental breakfast very good, happy hour drink vouchers is a great idea. Shuttle to stadium was very convenient.

Easy location to get to, safe and secure. Managers reception was packed but our bar girl did an excellent job of getting everyone taken care of. Had dinner at the hotel's restaurant. All was good, service as well. We will be back on our trip north next year.

I drove in today with an employee, traveling across country for work with no reservation We were greeted by Daniel, and learned that with no reservation the hotel had limited availability. The front desk staff worked together to provide us two rooms quickly. One on a radio, requesting expedited room cleaning for our rooms that had not been serviced yet, the other coordinating with another team member to ensure we had the correct room numbers and a timely check in. Within 5 minutes, we were served 2 rooms, cards, a thank you and a smile. Exceptional teamwork, exceptional customer service, and exceptional rooms. Brilliant experience.

This hotel is decent enough if you’re passing through, however it is far from a 4-star hotel. The hotel common areas seem rundown and the rooms feel outdated and lack the cleanliness of a true 4-star property. I noticed in our bathroom there were areas that were clearly missed during cleaning. The room had also not been dusted properly. Overall was decent enough as we arrived late and left in the morning. However, just be aware the cleanliness is not at the level you expect from a hotel of this rating or price point.

While my stay itself at the hotel was pleasant, I am unable to recommend Embassy Suites Tuscaloosa due to the complete mishandling of my check in process resulting in more than $600 being incorrectly charged to my credit card. My stay was paid for in whole prior to check in. My receipt upon check out was $0. Days after checking out, I realized that Embassy Suites charged me not once, not twice, but three additional times. When I called to inquire about this mistake, the hotel assured me that they refunded my money. It has now been almost a week since my stay and there has been no refund of any kind. The only advice they provided was to dispute the charge with my credit card company. Do not stay here if you do not want to be charged for another customer's stay!
