My absolute favorite person throughout my stay was Ayanna at the front desk whom went above and beyond the call of duty to ensure that my accommodations requested exceeded my expectations. My Premium suite was beautiful, spacious, clean and quiet. The hotel is in the Perfect locations for food, shopping and entertainment all with in walking distance.

She is the definition of leadership done right—attentive, proactive, and genuinely invested in guest experience. You can tell when a hotel is well-run, and that starts at the top. If you’re choosing a Hilton, choose this one. And if Katherine is on-site, know you’re in excellent hands. I’ll absolutely be back.

The hotel sits in a busy commercial district with food and walkable streets, is clean to the point of sparkle, and offers free parking—a rarity in any downtown. My room, 721, was not the usual Embassy Suites layout but a large king, with a pair of framed windows overlooking the street and a view extending to the university rooftops. The afternoon happy hour was run by a contagiously cheerful woman and breakfast brought the same energy: omelets turned out by a cook who seemed just as glad to be there. The lobby matched the rooms for cleanliness. It is hard to find a downside to returning. If Hilton could replicate this standard across its portfolio, it would dominate the corporate hotel world.
