In the morning they told me the oven had been broken for a week. If that's the case they should have told us at checkin that there would be no hot breakfast. Then oven was broken and the pancake maker was broken also.

Breakfast is what frustrated us the most. Apparently the “oven” was “broken.” So we really felt the rooms were already pricey for what I paid the night before in a different city then no hot breakfast me think we should have gotten a discount.

Most notably, the WiFi here is terrible, so this place isn’t gonna fly for remote work. Also, there was a sagging showerhead slider I had to hold in place, the pancake machine didn’t work, and they wouldn’t let me do a late check out even though I was perfectly willing to pay an extra fee for it. That being said, I’ve seen much worse. At least the rooms are clean and the building us safe. It meets my absolute basic expectations for a hotel, just not much more beyond that. Luckily for IMG’s perspective, the nearby hotel options are not good at all, so unless Ritz Carlton decides to invest in Sylacauga for some reason that will likely be the case for a long time. +1 star bonus because I watched the Bears beat the Packers here and will never forget it
- SNSarah NottkeDec 10, 20251.0TOE NAIL CLIPPINGS NEXT TO BED!!! This was the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. There was multiple smells in the hallway, Paint peeling in the rooms, but the grossest thing of all was when climbing into bed I found multiple toenail clippings next to the bed while barefoot. The front desk girl said housekeeping had already gone home for the day and she was going to have to leave the front desk to help…. She was really nice and explained that they’ve had multiple issues with housekeeping and head of housekeeping!!! she ended up vacuuming the whole room and ensuring it was properly cleaned at 1030 at night! I will never be staying here again!!!
