- NLNIKOLE LAWRENCEApr 6, 20265.0We absolutely loved our stay at Hotel Indigo! The kids had the best time in the indoor pool, it was perfectly warm and made our trip even more enjoyable. Everything throughout the hotel was very clean and well maintained. We especially loved the room setup. The bunk beds were perfect for the kids, and our bed was incredibly comfortable. It was very relaxing for the whole family. The staff truly made our stay even better. Ms. Julie and Zach were both so kind, welcoming, and professional. Their hospitality stood out and made us feel right at home. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Orange Beach!

- 8885Mar 24, 20261.0I rarely leave negative reviews, but this stay was a complete disappointment and a $300 mistake. The room was extremely unclean upon arrival. There was a strong smell of urine throughout the space, and to make matters worse, food had been left in the mini fridge by previous occupants — clearly the room had not been properly cleaned. The bed and pillows were also some of the worst I’ve ever experienced in a hotel, making it nearly impossible to get a good night’s sleep. At check-in, we were surprised with an $89 pet fee that was NOT disclosed on Trivago when booking, along with an additional $50 incidentals fee. Hidden charges like this feel misleading and frustrating after already committing to the reservation. Breakfast was included in our hotel bill, yet the breakfast service closed 15 minutes early. When we spoke with Zach at the front desk and asked if the hotel would cover the $30 breakfast we had to purchase next door since we had already paid for breakfast, he refused, stating it was a staffing problem. While staffing issues happen, guests should not have to pay the price for them — especially when breakfast was part of what we paid for. Between the cleanliness issues, unexpected fees, poor customer service, and uncomfortable accommodations, this was easily one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve had. I would not stay here again and cannot recommend it to others.
