- TCT CorrDec 8, 20251.0The people managing this location are fraudulent, rude, and rip offs. I called an asked for a cancellation due to an emergency. I called the number on the website (not knowing at the time I was transferred to IHG guest relations). I was told I would be contacted by email about my request to cancel for refund, leading me to believe I would be refunded. Well I was charged and checked into a room, even though I was not there, a couple hours after my call. I called around 9am and was charged around 11am. No email, no call, no wait until I present a card. Just charged at a time before I could even check in, if I was to check in. Never have that happened at any hotel. I called the hotel when I noticed it around 6pm, and was told by the employee, he was told to check all people in to rooms who had reservations whether they showed up or not. He said he was told if the card on file did not go through, just cancel the reservation but if it goes through let it stay. I called the manager the following day and he was rude, telling me there was nothing he would do and I spoke to a guest relations not him. He got upset with me when I said I would dispute with my credit card company. He said he will send documentation saying I did not cancel within 24 hours, which I am not disputing, however I was lead to believe it would be canceled. He then HUNG UP IN MY FACE. I am so upset and hurt by this. An establishment ripping me off for $171.99.
