You have to pay to park but they don't tell you. The garage next to the hotel puts a boot on your car while it is in the garage, apparently you have to prepay to park but they don't communicate that. (In what universe do you prepay to park in a garage!?) We had to pay $105 to have the boot removed for parking in a garage less than 24 hours!!! The guy who took the boot off said they don't ever tell you that you have to pay to park in the garage marked hotel parking. He said they put so many boots on everyday! The staff didn't care about the problem. Acted shocked that we didn't know we had to pay to park there. I had to suggested breakfast vouchers for our trouble! On top of that the bathroom is so small you can hardly shut the door to use the toilet. I never do bad reviews but this hotel ruined our vacation! Pick another one!

No door to the bathroom. No fans is shower restroom. No working clock. Broken coffee maker. No do not disturb tag for door. No answer multiple times when calling the desk. No complementary breakfast. You can pay $17.00 a plate for the buffet. 3:30pm still no room clean-up or towels. No paper towels or kleenex. Quite expensive for a lack of simple things, and all of the nonfunctioning items. This is the historic district. I know this isn't the Hilton, or the nicest hotel chain, but I've been in Holiday Inn Expresses in the middle of nowhere with more to offer. And a staff that at least answers the phone or comes and cleans your room.

My family stayed here during the last weekend of spring break. The front desk staff was friendly. Upon check-in, I found the lobby crowded with loud people, loud music, and the smell of marijuana. The hallway on the 9th floor also had a marijuana odor. On the second night, I ordered DoorDash, but the lobby was so crowded that when the Dasher arrived, a woman approached him claiming it was her order. This was partly the Dasher's fault for not following simple rules. I saw her heading to the elevator with 2-3 men, and I chose not to confront her, as there were men with her. If they can steal, who knows what else they might do. The room was okay, but it desperately needs professional carpet cleaning. Every time we took a shower, our feet turned black as soon as we touched the carpet due to the dirt and grime on it.Parking was horrible people parking in back of parked cars on the lot so maneuvering around them was ridiculous. The car garage across the street was super small and it was filled with big SUVs so getting my truck in was a big no. We had to park further away. I normally stay in a higher end hotel if it wasn't for the three events happening in the same area I would have canceled our stay. I feel bad for the staff I think they are afraid to control the crowd in the lobby since they don't give off considerate people vibes. We Will not stay here again.
