Stayed for 1 night over the 2025 holiday break - NOT what we had come to enjoy about this brand, and not at all to the Hilton standard. Location was good, just off the interstate, and the room/bed were comfortable. However, the cleanliness was another story - attached photos show major rust and poor repair workmanship. Breakfast buffet was cold and lacked variety. Tried contacting hotel after stay but got no response. Very poor customer service!

Paid online. Went to check in. Clerk said $50 deposit. Left and came back. Suddenly it’s $250. Im recovering from stage 3 cervical cancer. I just got out the ER with 103.4 fever due to infection from radiation. Im very lethargic and just plain sick. I don’t have $250! I paid $100 for the room. Here it is Christmas Eve!!! Im out in the cold! All because I live within 60 miles. I live in the next state!!! Just because of that $250 deposit! Now the booking agency is saying it was a special discount i cant get a refund! I don’t want to cancel! I want the room! I paid for the room!!! I could do a $50, $75 deposit!! Not $250!! Now I don’t have the money to book another hotel room and I may not get it back at all. It was my Christmas gift from my mom. The man behind the counter was extremely rude. The first time I went in he kept trying to push us off to the side. Like we were bums that came off the street. I know I don’t look all that great considering I just went through chemo, brachytherapy, external radiation, white blood cell count dropped, numerous infections. I have bruises on my arms from all the blood work done this week. Im sick and im tired. How can YALL treat people this way on Christmas Eve!?!! Then to see how he treated the other people at the hotel versus myself and kept referring to them as customers when I am also a customer! A paying customer! I already paid for the room!! Have no idea how degrading it feels to go through something as cervical cancer and then be treated so badly by a hotel clerk like ur someone that just crawled out of the gutter into their establishment. Im just literally heartbroken and cried. I went to the SpringHill medical center next to the Mitchell cancer institute and wanted to rest for one night. Now I’m staying in a car. For some reason he did not want me staying at the hotel. It was quite obvious he was being discriminatory against us. To have me wait for half an hour. You have no idea the pain I have been through to be treated so badly. He told me $50 deposit then changed it once I came back with card. On Christmas Eve! I can’t even book another hotel room. I should have booked with the new hotel across the street. I stayed there last week and they didn’t charge a deposit. But I didn’t get to actual stay in the room because I had to be rushed to the ER. If it had said anything online about a $250 deposit i would NOT have booked the room. How do you treat people like this?? How?? Just because they live within a 60 mile radius but in another state!!! 44 miles! According to them I have to pay a $250 deposit because I live 44 miles away. When I asked him if I had lived further than 60 miles how much he would have charged he refused to answer and said he had customers to attend to then proceeded to hang up on me. I paid for a room. I never even got to step foot in. Merry Christmas from Hilton.

My husband and I love Home2 Suites hotels (by Hilton). They’re fairly consistent in quality, cleanliness, and comfort. The Tillmans Corner location in Mobile is not as new as some we’ve stayed recently, but e found it to be on par with our other experiences, and we love that they’re pet friendly, as we sometimes travel with our dog.
The front desk attendant, Chris, recommended a cute little Mexican restaurant, Azteca, which we really enjoyed. The only very small downside was that the remote control for the TV didn’t have work when we arrived. Chris was very accommodating, and offered us a new room a few doors down, since their maintenance guy had just left for the evening. We really didn’t want to move rooms, because we had already settled into the one originally assigned, so I played with the TV and remote control for a bit, and managed to get it to changing the HDMI, removing and replacing the remote batteries, and generally pushing any button on the TV and remote I could find! It finally worked and saved us the hassle of moving rooms, when we really just want to watch the news before bed. Anyway, Chris was busy searching for new remotes, and doing what he could to help us avoid moving rooms or doing without the TV. It all worked out, and Chris assured me that he’d have their maintenance team check it out to avoid a repeat with the next guest.
All in all, a very positive experience.

Front Desk wants to charge $50 to check in earlier for a room that is widely available with limited occupancy on a week night. I was originally upset with this money grab, but at the end of the day it didn't impact my trip as much. I would have preferred to stow some valuables inside and not in my vehicle while we handled business in the unknown areas. Hilton really should revisit this as a global policy for loyal members especially high volume stays & spend on AMEX Aspire + Surpass cards. Hilton Honors Status (& previous top tier) "Diamond" has become of almost zero value stateside.
Room was very spacious. Overall clean. Didn't smell bad but didn't smell great. Pillows leave alot of room for improvement.
We stayed in an ADA room to make it easier on my father, the bathtub was large and loaded with all the right accessories. BUT the metal pieces were rusted, the tub has some darker stains around the fixtures & drain stopper was broken.
Location was convenient for us on this trip for business needs.

I'm a Hilton member. I stayed 3 nights in a king suite. This place is amazing. Talk about Christmas spirit! Nicely decorated and inviting for the holidays. My room was so clean. I wear room slippers and the floors and carpet are telling when it comes to cleanliness. Impressive. The bedding? Better than any resort at Disneyworld! No joke. The staff was awesome and inviting at every shift change. Breakfast was incredible. Pay no attention to the negative reviews. It's on them and their bad behavior, not the Hilton. I read about the family coming in late with kids that got noisy. They need to understand that coming in late, people on business had been traveling all day and are finally resting. Out of control kids need to be taught SHHHH at that time of night. Be responsible parents. Possibly Super 8 would suit you best with all due respect. Wonderful experience here!
