- HDHoozyer DaddyNov 15, 20251.0I was really disappointed with my stay at Candlewood Suites in Mobile. My room was dirty when I arrived, including stains on the sheets. When I asked for help, management didn’t resolve the issue — they simply handed me clean sheets and told me to make the bed myself, which is not the level of service I expect from a hotel. On top of that, they put a ticket on my car even though they forgot to give me a parking permit at check-in. Other guests mentioned this happens a lot, which tells me it’s an ongoing problem. The property is advertised as smoke-free, but outside near the TV area there were people smoking constantly, including staff. There’s even a “smoker alley,” which makes the “smoke-free facility” signs feel misleading. The one bright spot was an employee who was genuinely friendly and helpful — I believe he’s the one who rides a bicycle around the property. Unfortunately, the rest of the experience overshadowed that. Overall, I cannot recommend this location based on my stay. I hope management takes these issues seriously for future guests.

Beds were very comfortable, it had a full size refrigerator, microwave, mini burners. Coffee machine, nice size TV, Recliner was a rocker also. It was worth the money. The staff was very nice.

First off the staff is awesome, they were always very helpful and attentive and the rooms were clean well stocked with appliances, utensils and other things needed for an extended stay. The only downside was the crazy prices down at their little Geedunk, and the lack of breakfast. Other than that, its a great location within walking distance of downtown Mobile.
