First room, the HVAC didn’t work. Shower was dirty, and the extra pillows were yellow and without cases. Cases were shoved into a bag and I wasn’t sure if they were clean. Second room also had a dirty shower and yellow pillows, and I figured out in the morning when my HVAC wouldn’t turn off that it was broken, too. I checked out a day early and moved to a newer Hilton property down the road.
It’s also very offputting to have the hotel solicit housekeeping tips. You should just pay your housekeeping staff (the hardest job in any hotel, harder than any management position) more instead putting a sign in the rooms stating that 100% of tips go to employees. Like I believe that…
Home 2 used to have a decent quality breakfast for these kind of middle tier “suites” hotels. The change to this “make your own breakfast sandwich” garbage is a very noticeable downgrade in quality. Coupled with consistently dirty rooms, and advertising how little you pay your staff, I think it’s time I start avoiding Home 2 if possible.

I just want to share my experience this past week, we have stayed in this hotel several times without any problem until this past week, we arrive very late and they assign a room on the second or 3rd floor I can remember well, we were tired and it was just 1 night.
That night I took a shower but in the middle of the night I felt really itchy (I though its was the lotion or something else)
We travel with 2 small dogs really healthy and clean all the time, they started to scratch uncontrollable but I though it was an allergy but no, after a few days I notice more and more scratching 😣 after a closer inspection I notice fleas! One of them was with tons of them!
My dogs are indoor dogs and only go outside to potty in the yard so no other dogs or cats in contact with them.
The only place we expose our dogs was that hotel room and like I said I got bitten too, I found several bites on my legs the very next day but I though the mosquitos got me but no it was flea bites! I google them and it was that.
Like I said we have stayed at this hotel several other times but on the same room on the first floor near the breakfast area and everything was ok until now.
I’m just mad because we got charge for the dogs every time and the room should be cleaned because figs stay there and they are expose to this type of things, I have owened dogs for the longest time and this is the first time they got fleas and specially at a nice hotel. 😔

The breakfast was blah. The same thing was offered for a straight 7 days! I asked for room service 3 days out of the 7 days I was there & didn't receive it until the day before I checked out. I got off the elevator & saw housekeeping cleaning my room around 6pm. I asked for service at 630 that morning. I've never seen housekeeping cleaning that late & they were literally cleaning me out! They tried to steal my medicine that has a 1k value & was getting ready to take my 2 bags of seasoning had I not stopped them. It took me 30 mins to realize that my medicine that was in the fridge was gone! I went to the front desk & asked for housekeeping & was told they were gone for the day. After I explained the situation about my 1k medicine being gone & someone having to replace it the guy at the front desk said it was prob in the big dumpster outside. I told him well you need to call housekeeping in. He told me he doesn't have their phone number I asked him to call his manager or supervisor & he said well I'll check the trash back here (at the front desk). He came around the corner with my medicine still in the box with my name & prescription number on it.They attempted to steal my medicine & were going to try to take it or sell it on the streets. I could see if i had checked out & you deeped clean my room & attempted steal my stuff, but I had one more day!! Please check the schedule before attempting to steal. Luckily I made it back to my room in time to see what housekeeping was doing. Why would housekeeping take my medicine out of the refrigerator & give it to the front desk?!
