On Jan. 26, 2026 we lost our home to a house fire. We lost everything entirely. I called and booked us a room for 2 nights & as it ended up we had to keep extending our stay and I was under the assumption that it was okay to book like that as many people do. We have no place to go and still looking. We had been there 24 days not paying with any discount paying full price… on the morning of Feb. 18th my daughter received a phone call from down stairs ordering us to leave immediately. My daughter had been downstairs the night before to extend the stay and they told her it would be no problem to come back in the morning and it could be extended then… according to whomever is in charge it was wrong. We have been there 24 days and paid dearly to be there but according to the powers above that the person working that night had told my daughter wrong and they had booked the room we were in and that the whole hotel was booked.. No rooms at all. We were basically set out on the street with no where to go. I told her she didn't give me time to even find a place to go.. All they were concerned with was for us to be out… now I don't understand why there was a problem when we had extended the stays many times and all of a sudden this time was wrong because the person downstairs that night made a mistake.. Why should we be punished for their mistake? We have done everything that has been asked of us. It made the day extremely stressful and I had called back and asked to speak to the main boss and was told she would return my call and to this day she's not bothered to return my call. The only person that was decent was one lady in housekeeping.. The rest especially the ones in charge were not at all nice. I would never recommend to stay there for the way we were treated and how uncaring they were setting is out in the street with no place to go and had no time to find a place. They didn't care all they wanted was us out.. To me Thats bad business especially when we had been there 24 days and they got their money.. I give this place no stars for how they handled everything and having no heart or caring whatever happened to us & for never bothering to call me back because they know they were in the wrong renting our room out while we were still there and had tried the night before to extend the stay. Poor communication and poor service period. .. If you asked for 3 more towels which is how many were in our room we were told no that they have no towels so we went and bought our own wash clothes and towels. Very disappointed in that whole situation on how it was handled but will NEVER stay there again.

Location was convenient. Bed was comfortable. A/C / heater unit was very loud. As the picture shows, the shower was gross. The breakfast was awful. Build your own breakfast sandwich with terrible tasting items. Not a fan of this Hilton brand anymore.

First room, the HVAC didn’t work. Shower was dirty, and the extra pillows were yellow and without cases. Cases were shoved into a bag and I wasn’t sure if they were clean. Second room also had a dirty shower and yellow pillows, and I figured out in the morning when my HVAC wouldn’t turn off that it was broken, too. I checked out a day early and moved to a newer Hilton property down the road. It’s also very offputting to have the hotel solicit housekeeping tips. You should just pay your housekeeping staff (the hardest job in any hotel, harder than any management position) more instead putting a sign in the rooms stating that 100% of tips go to employees. Like I believe that… Home 2 used to have a decent quality breakfast for these kind of middle tier “suites” hotels. The change to this “make your own breakfast sandwich” garbage is a very noticeable downgrade in quality. Coupled with consistently dirty rooms, and advertising how little you pay your staff, I think it’s time I start avoiding Home 2 if possible.
