    Internet was down- I couldn’t check in Phones were done- I could call to see if internet was working again so I could check in. Checked in around 7-7:30 pm- go to room and the remote didn’t work. Tried to call the front desk, the phones were down again. Breakfast at 6:30 am- nope, no food out except oatmeal with no topping available. This hotel is a huge disappointment.

    Staff is very helpful Cheery and hardworking The trim we were given was very noisy. The HVAC unit was like a propeller in our room and kept going on and off. Impossible to have a sold nights sleep. I did make a comment to the staff that day but they can only do so much. It’s the higher ups management and corporate who need to know this. Denise was a real help— she went above and beyond to make my stay pleasant

    This is the first time in years I didn't receive a check in text or complimentary waters so maybe that was my first sign that my stay would be sub par. 1. I was aware of the renovations, but I didn't expect there to be a ladder directly in front of the elevator door. 2. We left at 11, but housekeeping came to the door 3 times between 8 and 11am, and we were told that check out was 11, despite the website and app saying 12. 3. As a former housekeeper, I try to make their jobs easier when I can. Normally, i do a thorough check, but I was tired and went straight to bed, and saw blood when I stripped the sheets. I thought maybe my partner had potentially cut themselves, but found out later that wasn't the case. When I realized I had to stay in Madison a second night, I just went somewhere else.

    Clean rooms. Breakfast was good. Right price. Wish we were closer to downtown, but definitely was not a deal breaker (obviously).
