  This is absolutely the nicest RV Resort we have ever stayed in! Large RV sites, clean and quiet, beautiful pool area, landscaping, friendly staff and only 9 miles from the beach! We will definitely be back!

  Tropic Hideaway is a very nice RV Resort. The pool area is beautiful and they have two dog parks, a smaller and a larger one. The dog parks are grass with a nice palapa for shade. I did have 1 negative about staff. It’s may seem like a small thing but it was frustrating. On Sundays the office closes at 1pm; no biggie. The laundry room only takes quarters and the office sells quarters. I went into the office at 12:45 to get quarters before they closed. The staff person had her cash drawer open and I could see 3 rolls of quarters. I had a $10 bill and asked for a roll of quarters. She said she had already closed out her cash drawer and could not exchange for quarters. We were leaving on Monday morning. The banks are closed and grocery stores no longer keep enough quarters in their drawers to exchange. I was very frustrated and disappointed that the office was still open and felt she should have made the exchange. I’ve stayed here 3 times. I’m not sure I’ll go back because of this interaction.

  Great place to visit! The spots were spacious and very well maintained. The entire campground was clean and the staff was so very polite and welcoming. It is very quiet at night, even on weekends. The pool area was great. Only drawback is the lack of umbrellas. The location is very convenient. We will definitely be back!

  We stayed from March 2nd to April 15th.Very well laid out park with plenty of space between sites. My biggest complaint is that the pool is not heated and there is no hot tub. Not a good park for the snowbirds. A laundry room with 3 washers and dryers (we never used it). Because of the pool, we would not return.

  If the girls in the office dont like you they will double your rate. They will say they don't have a registration under my name, like they all do. Stayed for $750 a month then when we went in office and asked what the following month would be and the 2 girls in office said $750. The next day Mckenna called and said your next month would be $1500. We made a call to the owner Cody (Porch Creek Indians) and then Dennis (Property management for Tropic Hideaway) and they made a call to fix our rates. As we were there other people also got to deal with these issues with the acting manager. Not a good manager. Mckenna even had a guest put a bad review on google about a worker, i know this because this person i was friends with. Always watch your bill. Will never be back and will tell everyone about this place.
