Moms, here’s some things I wish I would have known: it’s a little all over the place but stay with me. We have 7, 5, and 3 yr old. Towels are not provided at waterpark. Waters are not permitted but bring empty water bottles and fill in park. The waterpark is located inside the theme park. There is an arcade just outside the park in the downtown area. Call and go when there discounted play time otherwise can get expensive. We went in February and a good bit of theme park rides were not operating probably due to the lack of people in the park/staffing. My 5 year old was not quite tall enough for the bigger water rides (48” or above). The one really big rollercoaster you must be 51” or taller and my 7 year old was just shy of that. When you walk into the theme park go right for all the little kid rides. The big gift shop inside park to the left when you walk in has most things you could need including strollers and most things are not super inflated pricing which is nice. There are water fountains throughout the park. Most of the carnie games are $5/pp to play. Walmart is 8 min away. We got food to did lunch and breakfast in the room, all are equipped with small kitchens. Fridge/2 burner stove (I brought our food frying pan), toaster, microwave and dishwasher. Bring paper plates etc. They provide a hot breakfast at hotel. Very typical foods nothing great but a good variety. Yogurts, oatmeal and fixings, waffles, scrambled eggs, sausage, biscuits, cereal, bread assortments, fruit. Coffee juice. We made eggs in our room. We went to the water park first came back around lunch, ate hot dogs in room, changed, rest then went back to the park for the theme park. I would def suggest driving there versus walking. Ok that’s all I can think of. We had a good time and weather was perfect but even in good weather you need to stay hydrated due to no shade anywhere. Great park for younger kids I’d say teens would not be as impressed. Oh, try the restaurant Lamberts it’s quite an experience! Food was ok but fun!

Went to to their Mardi Gras parade. The parade was good. It was fun very family friendly. The only thing is the parking lot are very full and leaving was a disaster. Had to sit in the car with no movement for like 30 minutes they should hire people to do traffic control after their big events like this
