  Stayed at Spark by Hilton Decatur and this stay was even better than the previous one. The hotel feels very new, clean, and well maintained. The room had everything I needed — fridge, microwave, USB-C charging ports, and a comfortable sofa where I could just sit, eat, and watch my iPad after a long day. The overall setup is simple but very practical, especially for travelers who stay on the road often like me. The room was spotless, fresh, and relaxing, making it easy to unwind and recharge. Small details like modern outlets and functional layout really make a difference. Highly satisfied and would definitely stay again.

  Service was great and it was the perfect location BUT they haven’t quite worked out all the problems that the rooms have. The bed was comfortable and clean however, there’s a list of basic comforts you may desire that just aren’t there. I found one working outlet which was on the other side of the room. I had to unplug the microwave and the television in order to charge my phone and laptop during the day. There’s zero places to plug in your phone by the nightstand. No USB or outlet plugs available bedside. Additionally, I stopped using the app on my iPhone to unlock the door because it constantly opened up my Apple Pay, and in fear of getting charged I deleted the app. And finally, this was minor because fortunately, I have a sound machine app on my phone to drown out the rock band noises emanating somewhere in the neighborhood. If you’re just looking for a place to lay your head, the bed is nice, other than that, It’s a bit of a hassle to stay here.

  This was our 4th stay at this location. The first room we were sent to was dirty and not cleaned. Phones did not work, so back down to the lobby we went. Second room seemed ok. We turned the air conditioner off as it was cold. About an hour later, there were lady bugs all over the room. Climbing on the walls, on the beds and even in the toilet. We were extremely disappointed that warm breakfast was discontinued. We travel to this area twice a year and will be looking for a new hotel to stay.

  Room is large and clean, but had a bad overall experience. The deadbolt in the first room did not latch. So we had to haul all of our stuff back down to front desk to get a new room. The next morning, the digital key would not work after breakfast. Again, had to go down to front desk to get physical key. Was told that digital keys stop working after midnight. That's a first for me.
