We always stay at an Express. We consistently have a great bed, good sheets and down alternative pillows offered. It it always clean. There was a coffee station with coffee and tea selections. A microwave and small fridge as well.

The lobby was clean and smelled great. Our room was clean, good AC. Breakfast had good options for a complimentary breakfast and the area was clean. Right off interstate and behind peach park / appeared to be a safe area.

My boyfriend and I came into town for a conference and stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. The prices were extremely high, but the town doesn't have very many options. The location was great. It was located right near the interstate and near Peach Park which was a delicious dinner spot. The room was very clean, the beds were comfortable, and the water pressure on the shower was amazing. The hotel could badly use some updating. The certification in the elevator was out of date. They have an older AC system which thankfully kept the room at a nice cool temperature. There were soft spots all throughout the hallways and room we stayed in which was very concerning seeing as we were on the 3rd floor. It felt like the floor was going to cave in at any time. If you have any kind of accessibility concerns, make sure to book a disabled room. I am a relatively able-bodied person, but short (I'm 5 foot tall). I had an extremely hard time getting into the bed because it was so high. The bath tub also sits really high and I ended up hurting myself trying to get out of it. The breakfast was okay, but unfortunately as someone with gluten allergies, there wasn't much available for me to eat. It was also unfortunate that the pool was unavailable during our stay, especially with a $200 a night price point. This seems to be the best spot in Clanton with the very few options they have. Next time I think we will stay a little further away from the conference to get a cheaper and better hotel option.
