  As a Hilton Honors member, I tend to try to find places to stay that earn me points and other perks. Staying here for the night on a road trip was a great choice. Checking in with Norman was an easy process. He told me they had been open for just two weeks and were happy to now be able to welcome guests to the hotel. He also let us know how to use the wi-fi. After going out for a bit we returned and Daniel was now at the front desk and he told me about the coffee, tea, and hot cocoa available all day. The kids and I enjoyed those. When returning to the room we found large shower gels, shampoo and conditioner and did not have to ask for extras like we have had to when unable to stay at a Hilton brand hotel. They were also sulfate, paraben, phthalate, and artificial color free which was great for our family because we try to be conscious of the products we use. The beds were comfy and not too hard or soft, space around the beds made the room feel like we had enough room, the temperature is controlled by an in-room thermostat which is helpful for those with toddlers that like to play with buttons, and there was a microwave and fridge. Again, for those with toddlers, the microwave is low enough to play with so you may need to get creative to work that issue. A strategically placed tote bag could cover it from site if needed because there is about 6 inches open in front of the door there. The facility also has an outdoor pool with a fence and only one gate that is able to bring a chair beside to keep kiddos in there with you. Helpful for elopers both big and small as it is a tall gate and fence (see picture). The workout room is the best I have ever seen and I was disappointed that we did not prepare to utilize it as it is the height of wrestling season and they had free weights, foam rollers, resistance bands, a box to jump on, and lots more. If you have a water bottle, they have a refill station in there too. You can use it even if you do not need to workout. Overall, we had a great stay and checked out with Kalen before leaving. Will definitely use this hotel again when we need one in the area.
