  Made reservation months ago, arrived at 8 PM to find out they were short staffed and still trying to clean rooms. Waited until 10 PM for a room to get clean with my children. No offer for discount or partial refund. Would not recommend.

  Upon arrival at 9pm after booking online well in advanced, they let us know that rooms would take a bit longer to be ready due to staffing issues. They told us it would be a 20 minute wait at 9pm, but it is now 11pm and multiple other families are waiting in the lobby with all luggage along side us as we still do not have a room more than 2 hours later. Staff is kind, but nonetheless unable to provide the basic service that we had all payed for. Additionally, they are only offering a 10% discount for those people whose rooms are becoming available after long waits in the lobby. While the facilities are nice, clean and new (can only speak to the lobby), I cannot reccomend anybody book this hotel. Paying more for a hotel that is able to offer a room is better! I hope that the management is able to better set expectations with staff and future customers or I do not see IHG wanting to continue the relationship with the current leadership of this location. They did have free pizza while we wait in the lobby!

  This hotel has clean rooms, friendly staff and conveniently located to dining and close to the University. Would stay rereading again!

  We came in town as part of a wedding party, so our room was reserved and pre-paid for by those planning the wedding. However when we arrived at the hotel, they told us that they had given the room away and were now fully booked due to an Auburn basketball game — so they had no space for us. They sent us across the street to another hotel and said they could “transfer our reservation”, but when arriving at the next hotel we were informed that transferring the reservation was not possible and they don’t know why they told us that. All this to say, I don’t recommend booking here. Even if you book and pay ahead of time, they might give your room away. Hopefully a manager will see this and start running things more honorably.

  Don’t book here if you really need your room. From looking at the reviews, they apparently overbook rooms. What’s more disturbing, I booked a non-refundable twin queen. That should have locked my room down. Nope! No twin queens available. They are using price to draw in travelers. But if we can’t depend on them to have our room, especially a non-refundable booking, it’s not worth risking. IHG needs to investigate the operating practices.
