    I stayed here while attending a family member's funeral, and I am appalled by the lack of professionalism and basic accessibility standards. I came seeking a reprieve during a time of loss; instead, I was met with logistical stress and a complete refusal to take responsibility. 1.Blaming the Guest is Not Service The room was not equipped for my mobility issues and the staff’s reaction was to change me to another room that offered the same barriers as the first. Due to the nature of the visit, the issue was tabled as I chose to prioritize my family. When I brought this issue to management’s attention, I was told I should have said something AGAIN while on-site. WHY? It is not the my responsibility to manage the hotel's inventory or "room hop" when I have physical limitations. 2. Lack of Institutional Knowledge Staff should have basic knowledge of their own property—specifically bed heights and layout accessibility for each room type. Being told that I had to keep moving because they "didn't know" which rooms would work is a failure of training and management. 3. Disrespectful "Resolution" After the stress of the stay, being offered 10,000 points was actually disrespectful. Points do not compensate for physical strain, the inability to rest during a funeral, or being treated like a nuisance. It is a hollow gesture that attempts to "buy off" a guest rather than offering a sincere apology or systemic fix. Final Verdict: This hotel lacks the empathy and the infrastructure to support guests with mobility needs or those going through a difficult life event. Their refusal to take accountability for their mistakes makes this a property I will never patronize again. Note to Management: Accessibility is a legal and ethical requirement, not a "preference." Training your staff on room specifics—like bed height—and teaching them how to take accountability instead of blaming the guest would be far more valuable than any amount of points.

    I had such a pleasant stay. The rooms were very spacious and clean. The staff was SO helpful, courteous and warm. They even made my baby an honorary employee. 10/10 would def recommend.

    I had a pleasant stay at Holiday Inn Express Atmore North. The staff were very helpful, polite, and welcoming throughout my visit. The room was comfortable and well-maintained, making it easy to relax. The hotel also has easy access to nearby areas and the environment was calm and quiet. Overall, it was a smooth and enjoyable stay.
