What really shines at this hotel is the staff—everyone was so kind and accommodating. I wish I could remember his name, but the gentleman who checked us in on Sunday, December 21st truly went above and beyond helping us get settled into our room after a long day of driving. The kitchen staff also did an exceptional job with breakfast every morning, which was a huge relief for us and our kids. Thank you! Finally, I’d like to thank Darlene, who is in charge of housekeeping—thank you for taking such great care of us.

The rooms are nice but the A/C thermostat is an occupancy sensor and will auto set the room to the managed temperature after about 30min of inactivity in the room. The temperature for my auto was 74 so once you didn’t move it would revert from 66 to 74 turning the heat on to warm the room up. This was across several rooms as I had coworkers report the same scenario. The fix for this was to tie a plastic bag around the AC unit to try and trigger the motion but that only worked for one night. Stop trying to save money at the expense of the comfort of your guest. I should be able to have a cold room for well over 150$ a night! WiFi doesn’t work as well and cell service is almost non existent.
- BGBradM GrantAug 1, 20255.0This place was recommended by a friend who lives in Andalusia. I'm glad he did. This is the only true hotel in Andalusia with interior doors to the rooms. All others are motels with exterior corridors. Entering the lobby at check-in, we saw a couple employees working hard to clean the area. A great sign indeed. The lady at the counter welcomed us and thanked us for being reward members. She was very kind and informative on the breakfast and how to get to our rooms. There was a couple of places at the location that needed maintenance. The roof above the eating area was in disrepair and the 2nd floor elevator down button was taped so we couldn't press it. But clean was the word for our 2-night stay. I do t know when we will visit Andalusoa again. If so, the Holiday Inn Express is where we will stay.
