  Had a male housekeeper attempt to come into my room when my door had a privacy please sign out. Front desk said the sign couldve flipped around. What? I was in my room. Who flipped the card? Why didnt anyone contact me before trying to enter as I'm getting ready in the bathroom? Having anyone let alone a man try to come into a single female occupants room was terrifying. No apology was offered until just before leaving the front desk. I was shaking and my heart was racing. Truly an unpleasant interaction. The front desk usually has helpful, empathetic and amazing service. Whoever I spoke to about the incident was not providing any of those qualities and it was shocking to see such a lack of emotion after my privacy was breached. I did not feel heard or helped. Came back later to my room and they key would not work. She disabled my keys and did not tell me. 4-15-2026 4/20/2026 female receptionist that wasnt involved said today "I thought you guys weren't coming back?" You think that those words were an appropriate way of acknowledging something that your staff was involved in? Yikes. I'm not there to make friends, I'm there for personal business. Let's keep it that way.

  We always stay here when we need a hotel room here. And we have been consistently happy with the service and condition of the room. It is disgusting though that the dog messes in and around the building is really gross. There needs to be more restrictive on where dogs do their thing, and pet owners picking up after their dogs. It is also a health hazard for other dogs. The last time, we stayed we got charged extra because it was a weekend, even though the hotel was not even full, and plenty of rooms empty. I think that policy is unfair.

  Had a three night stay for a solo Alaska trip. Went to Fairbanks on a road trip so I'd have a room to come back to on the way down from. I gotta say the service was amazing. Staff was courteous. I'm glad to have stayed at this location. Free breakfast was top notch! The lake view is unparalleled!

  Beautiful lake side view, clean easily accessible room, helpful and friendly staff attendant, and right central to the main vein of Wasilla.

  Spotlessly clean. Very quiet. An extremely functional room. Everything was well placed to make our stay comfortable. Best breakfast buffet. Omelets sausage waffles. So much more! Close to lots of restaurants
