Our exclusive, private waterfront retreat is accessible only by boat—your journey begins with a breathtaking, one-hour ride from Seward through the stunning waters of Resurrection Bay. Your stay includes full access to our wide array of watercraft, including sea kayaks, rowboats, stand-up paddleboards (SUP), snorkeling and fishing gear. Our yurts are designed for comfort, and each yurt has a private bathroom, a small kitchen, a comfortable bed with thoughtfully chosen linens and many more features designed to make your stay memorable.     Orca Island was the perfect way to disconnect and unwind from everyday life. The yurts were very comfortable. The decks are great for watching for wildlife. We kayaked, paddle boarded, snorkeled, hiked and searched in the tide pools for critters. The access to the water is unreal! We also did the wildlife tour with Taylor and had a phenomenal time. We got to see many animals up close and even saw humpback whales! We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

    Such a special place!! This was our second visit and we’re already daydreaming about coming back. Surrounded by natural beauty, it’s private and peaceful. Staff are friendly and fun, but give you space. Thank you Orca Island!!

    What a beautiful place. We stayed 3 nights and it was perfect. Our teenage boys spent their time fishing. We all enjoyed the kayaks everyday. This was our favorite place in Alaska.
