  Yes, it is a brand new and beautiful hotel, but I’ve stayed in every single hotel in Anchorage three starring above and I have to say that I have never had service the level. I’ve had here on top of everything else. Kyree, The Front Desk agent, greeted me as I pulled up with my truck, Introduced herself, welcomed me in and said She would be To help me with anything I needed. I then booked myself a room, not realizing that the room I booked did not have a bathtub, which I need because of my back. So, when I got up there I called the front desk and she happily searched for a room with a bathtub and then Wes, who also works here, personally came up to the third floor as I had a lot of bags for the trade show I’m doing, and handed me the keys to the new room so I didn’t have to come back downstairs, grab a cart, and head all the way back up. Kyree Apologized a few times, although the fault was completely mine, and so I couldn’t help believe this great review. This is a beautiful hotel and I feel like they just performed several levels up from Alyeska Prince Hotel At the ski resort. Those two are superstars and ownership and management did the right thing by putting them in charge to make An amazing first impression on guests at their new hotel this year. This is definitely the new hotel of choice for me and my whole business team. Well done!

  1000% recommend this hotel, absolutely wonderful stay. I was just staying the day in Anchorage as I continued to travel. However the staff is what makes this place wonderful, Lillian at the front desk especially! I asked if it was okay to stay in the room an extra hour, she said she’d give me two so I’m not rushed getting to the airport. Then I was waiting for the shuttle and I heard her on the radio, probably 5 times “how far out are you, need you back asap”. I had plenty of time, but just a wonderful all around staff. Room was fantastic, breakfast even better. Didn’t use the pool, and saw a moose on my way to the airport. Stayed at over 100 IHGs around the US and this one is raising the bar

  It was sad to lose the Spenard location, but this new and improved HIE is a worthy successor! Quiet and clean, and within easy access to stores and restaurants. Staff is friendly and helpful as well. Would happily come back on my next trip in!

  Nice hotel with comfortable beds and good pillows. The rooms were new and nice however the shower doors were crooked so they wouldn't stay closed which made a mess of the bathroom. As of Feb 5 26 the pool is not completed which was a major reason we booked 4 nights here so we were disappointed that was not mentioned online as it claims there's a pool, especially for such a high price ($180/n) in the off season. None of the rooms have bath tubs either. Free laundry but went to retrieve my washing and another guest had stopped the washer mid cycle and dumped my soaking wet clothes on the floor so they could use it despite there being cameras in the laundry room. Management offered points on our rewards and were very apologetic over this but if you do laundry here make sure you don't leave it. Breakfast was ok- lots of options but none were overly enjoyable compared to other locations which usually have a great breakfast. Hotel was loud between rooms / hallway / outside. Easy drive to the airport. **Note that we were charged $150 PER NIGHT x 4 nights for incidentals on our credit card. Was told to speak to a manager the next morning but as of 2pm they hadn't shown up.

  This is a nice, clean and new hotel that is well appointed for its class. I called about 10 minutes before arriving to inquire if they had availability for a walk in(my previous hotel was bad, so I walked out and was looking for new accommodation). The agent, Kyree, was very friendly and helpful. She sent the airport shuttle to pick us up from our original hotel while I was booking through the app to use a special rate code. By the time I arrived, she had me checked in, keys ready, with a smile on her face. It was the warmest and most genuine hospitality I have ever received in Anchorage. If you are looking for a good quality stay, this is the place. To the hotel management team, PLEASE recognize Kyree’s efforts, she was excellent!
