  We had a very good stay at Best Western Strathmore Inn, mainly because of its excellent location—very accessible and convenient, especially if you’re passing through or exploring nearby areas. The amenities were a big plus. The spa and pool were clean, relaxing, and well maintained, perfect for unwinding after a long day. The free breakfast was also a great bonus, with a good variety and enough options to start the day right. Customer service stood out as well. The staff were friendly, accommodating, and genuinely helpful throughout our stay. Our suite room was spacious, comfortable, and well kept, making it easy to relax and feel at home. The only downside was that the heater in our room was a bit loud during the night, which may be noticeable for light sleepers. Aside from that minor issue, everything else exceeded expectations. Overall, it was a very good stay, and we would gladly recommend this hotel for its comfort, amenities, and welcoming service.

  This place should giveessons to others hotels that are a bit dated. Cleanliest, comfort, and service are at the forefront. Whoever manages this place has done an amazing job of bringing a hotel that I used to pass by to a hotel with the level of comfort and service that I look for in other brands. If this is part of a hotel group with other hotels in Canada I would love to know where the hotels are so I can choose to stay at the on my frequent travels

  Bed was comfortable. Elevator wasn't working and we had to carry our luggage down a very dirty stairwell.

  We booked 2 rooms for 5 days and checked on Canada day. Staff was good on checking day. One of the room had insects. We reported and got another room next day. The new room had issues too...carpet wet. Then owner, said will do financially something for you. Next few days, breakfast counter did not full properly and only 1 staff to help. She was looking after reception, serving food and removing garbage in between with same gloves. Other people were so upset and kept complaining non stop. Felt bad for that employee.

  $30 charge to check in before 4pm - which is ridiculous. Rooms weren't serviced other than first day. Wasnt notified on how to request a room cleaning. (Usually a hang tag - but this one didn't have one). Staff was nice. Beds were comfortable. But this hotel wouldnt be my top choice when I go back for another hockey tourney. They were super great with the kids tho. I'd give it a 2 🌟 if it wasnt for the staff.
