- DDDaniel DevenzNov 2, 20251.0Such a disappointment. When I booked a room, I was very clear that I was traveling with my dog and I needed one of their pet friendly rooms for several nights. The next morning I was told that they didn't know I had a dog, that I would need to change rooms, and that I would be charged a $75 cleaning fee. I tried to explain the situation, that a mistake must have been made when the employee booked my room, and that I would be happy to switch rooms. But this other employee I was talking to was like a robot. No crime ical thought at all. She just repeated that this was somehow my mistake, even though they did the booking for me. I cancelled my next few nights and found a Inn with better staff. Other than that it was good, but what does that matter when you are being nickel and dimed irrationally.

The person I spoke with was extremely rude and unhelpful. I even called IHG and talked to several very kind people who initially said they could help, but they later informed me that it was up to the hotel manager to waive the fees, and he chose not to. Then sent a bill for $327.27
