  I had to figure out how to write a review just to give props to Kaitlyn. She is the best hotel clerk I have ever had she is extreamly efficient and is always capable of helping. I will be calling her up next time we are coming to lethbridge.

  The main reason we stayed here was for the waterpark. The kids definitely had fun but I dont like the fact that there's no lifeguard at the top where the slides are, none of the kids payed attention to the red/green light and went one right after the other and almost kicked my kids in the head more then once. Also kids were putting their tubes in the hot tub so only a few people could get in and the lifeguards said nothing to them about it.

  Completely disappointed; not only in the service from staff but from initial reservations. Unclear communication; plus when reservation problems arose on THEIR end, nothing and I mean absolutely nothing was done to rectify. A specific room was booked and paid for in advance and upon arrival; we were told it was not available when reservations clearly stated the specific room had been paid for in full. Disgraceful. Waste of money and waste of time.

  If you stay at this hotel, do not let them put you in room 221. There’s a continuous mechanical sound, the is load and vibrates the floor. There is also an obstructed view of the roof over the main entrance. The hotel was booked up so no other room was offered. As was no decrease in the price for a room that should be a storage room not a guest room.

  Upon arrival (around 9 pm) we were told our room was canceled and they no longer had that type of room. They said the manager tried to call us and then just cancelled anyones room who didn't answer that day. I never received a message or email stating our room was canceled. In fact, I received a text that morning confirming our reservation. I booked directly through IHG and not a third party site over a month earlier. I had requested a crib with our original reservation. This was Valentines day weekend and it was very busy. They gave us a much smaller room and then the keys didn't work so my husband ran down to the desk and right when he returned they called and said they "found" the original room and we could take that. Mind you we had a 6 month old baby with us and traveled from the US. So we pack back up and head back down to the desk again to get the new key cards. I asked for the crib and she said they were all spoken for and since our reservation was canceled it canceled the request for a crib. Ok, plan B, we brought a pack and play so it was fine just was a little annoying. Room was very dirty upon check in. They charged a $500 damage deposit because we used a debit card and said we had to come back upon check out so they can clear the room in order to refund it. For that reason, I notified the staff of the cleanliness issue to make sure we wouldn't be charged. The floor was badly stained and there was a plastic fork on the floor, hair stuck around the bath tub/jacuzzi. The gal apologized and said she even had someone verify it was clean before calling to tell us that it was available. Obviously that wasn't the case. Even after housekeeping cleaned the second day there was still a dirty fork on the floor...never picked it up. We did get our deposit back on Sunday but we had to wait for staff to check the room. They did comp me 1,000 IHG points and gave us free breakfast tickets (I had already chosen to pay extra for breakfast with my original reservation...). I feel I was very understanding and nice about the situation but we won't be staying here again. We would've changed hotels but everywhere was full. Disappointed IHG member.
