Then, just two weeks before our stay, the hotel cancelled our booking. Their explanation? Because the booking was made through a third-party website. That excuse is unacceptable. A guaranteed booking is a guaranteed booking, regardless of how it was made. At no point were we warned that our reservation could be cancelled on this basis. Cancelling at such short notice left us scrambling for alternative accommodation at a higher cost and caused significant stress and inconvenience. This shows a complete lack of professionalism and disregard for guests who plan and rely on confirmed reservations. If you value reliability, honesty, and basic customer service, do not book here. We certainly won’t again.

After a long road trip, they helped me locate the hotel and provided a smooth, efficient and friendly check-in which made the stay that much more enjoyable! Great staff, great rooms, highly recommend this location if travelling through Lacombe!

Front desk people are very friendly too. There's an awesome waterside that the 10 yr olds have a blast on.
