- CGChris GreyellFeb 16, 20265.0Great location- 8 minutes to the airport and about the same to the hockey rink. Clean and updated hotel and rooms. Plenty of parking. Pool was great for the kids- not overly chlorinated like most hotels. Games room with ping pong, basketball and big screen tv was a nice hangout spot for our hockey tournament. Breakfast was just ok. Restaurant is under construction so first day it was a bagged breakfast ( this was the best one) the rest were set up in the banquet hall and it wasn’t very good. Room was clean- with air conditioner view lol

The last morning before check out and before making a 6 hour drive after a skating competition all weekend we were left with no hot water for the second time during our stay and we were awaken by a band. Even the first morning before 8am and again around 820am housekeeping woke us wanting to clean our room. They were very pushy about when we would be leaving. Very disappointed, especially for the price we paid.

The photos on their site made it look a lot larger and it was a bit coded and more warn than I expected. Comfortable bed and bedding. Could have more pillows, though. The tub in the king suite and location would make it worth another stay, though.

For many years they trying to experiment with the restaurant’s ambiance. The last renovation/change is better than the other ones. The reception experience and the rooms are awesome!
