- TRTerry ReynoldsJun 8, 20254.0This Holiday Inn Express (and suites) was a reasonably priced, ultra vanilla highway stop with predictable minimums. 2 wit: clean rooms, middle of the road decor or "Aménagements": (This term can refer to both physical features (like landscaping or infrastructure) and the overall planning and design of an area or building). Staff are helpful and efficient. The immediacy of highway access also plays itself out in the form of highway views. Now the grit: daylight CFL bulbs take a warm, comforting room, and gives it a “je ne sais… surgical suite” feel. I’ve never seen such an austere light hue for an hotel room(s). I thought I was trapped in a Blade Runner reboot. These are generally excellent and affordable hotel rooms when one finds oneself mileaging the hell out of a sub sub compact rental car. It all felt mildly organic when I arrived, and a ton of Tim Hortons refuse fell out of my open car door.

As vegetarians who also avoid eggs, we often struggle to find meals that meet our dietary needs, especially options that are not cross-contaminated. Abi went above and beyond to understand our requirements and personally prepared vegetarian meals just for us. His kindness, thoughtfulness, and attention to detail made a huge difference in our stay. It’s rare to find such genuine consideration in hospitality, and we are incredibly thankful for his support. Thank you, Abi, and thank you to Holiday Inn for having such dedicated and compassionate staff. Highly recommend for anyone with dietary restrictions looking for a comfortable and welcoming place to stay
