Overall experience not great … Couldn’t reach them by phone to change my reservation . When we arrived it check in took 10 min per person, and they make you sign waivers for all sorts of ‘what if’s’ with fees . Also the lobby TV was not working, and fireplaces not on while waiting for our group in November . The room had small doubles ( not queens ) . Oh, and they wanted an $80 early checkin fee (which we declined and just came back at 4pm .)

I’m sorry for writing a negative review but it was my perspective, yours may be different. My first impression, I walk in, there was no one behind the check-in desk. There was a homeless guy sitting in a lobby chair, after a couple of minutes the front desk person came out with a mask on. I asked her about the homeless guy, she said, “oh he’s actually waiting for a guest”. Later on that evening there was a “Chair Wet” sign on that chair. So, no need to continue, as my review would be tainted by my initial impression. I had two nights reserved, I cancelled the second night and booked at the Marriott.

The accommodation itself was excellent, with a clean, modern design room. However, the highlight was the front desk team. Their service, genuine hospitality, and politeness were truly amazing and set a high standard.

Had stay my stay on 23 of sept. Couldn't even provide me a proper invoice for my stay. The trip was work related. Can't even get reimbursed because of that. Till this day still waiting for the invoice. I even included booking.com since I booked it through them. Still nothing.

I recently booked this hotel for a business trip, while my wife and kids were close to the West Edmonton Mall. What I experienced was one of the worst hotel stays travelling for business. Mainly due to the youth hockey teams and the complete failure of the hotel staff to manage the situation. From the moment the teams arrived, the noise level was unbearable. The children were loud, disrespectful, and arrogant, running up and down the halls, slamming doors, and even actively playing hockey inside the halls. This disruptive chaos went on late into the evening. The situation got worse when we attempted to address the issue directly, speaking to the children about the noise. Instead of recognizing their children's bad behavior, the parents became immediately confrontational and hostile. They got into an argument with US and defended their bad behaviour. This created an unsafe and deeply uncomfortable environment. The most egregious failure, however, was the hotel's response. After numerous complaints from the hockey team against us for speaking up, the evening front desk staff finally contacted us—not to apologize or resolve the disruption, but to give us a warning that we would be kicked out for "making too much noise." To threaten paying guests who are simply asking for a quiet, safe stay against a backdrop of documented chaos shows a shocking lack of professionalism and customer service. I will never return to this hotel, and I strongly recommend that any traveler, especially those visiting for business purposes, avoid this hotel. Until the management can properly enforce basic rules of conduct and train their staff to support guests over disruptive parties, this property is not fit for business travel.
