  I used to drive past this hotel all the time, probably for the last 25 years. I started staying there this last year find it very consistent and welcoming

  Not impressed with this place. They placed a hold for full payment on my Credit Card the night before I arrived. Then when I arrived my credit card was no longer good enough for my money (KOHO). They said they wouldn't accept it, even though nowhere on their website states they won't take KOHO. I've used my KOHO everywhere around the world and have never once had issues. I then had to give them another credit card which they then charged the full amount again PLUS an incidental fee. So in total I had just about $400 taken between my 2 cards, and now sitting in limbo for just over $200. Requested a late check out by 1 hour, but got a flat out no. Breakfast was nothing special either. Won't be returning.

  The experience of checking in was an an awful experience. The manager on the desk was rude and unhelpful.Would not listen and kept talking over us and considered the comment of ridiculous she considered abusive.The comment was directed at the situation and when asked to just check us in she said get a refund go elsewhere. She finally finished check in and went to our rooms very upset and not feeling like a wanted guest.Will try our next visit again one time and hope goes well we will stay elsewhere and not recommend this place

  Close to where we needed to go. Also right across from theLRT station. Across the overpass from the stadium.

  Through my credit card rewards redemption, I entered the filter “pet friendly” but this one slipped through, and we booked it. I arrived 3 hours ahead of the check in time and asked for a pet-friendly room. They told me they don’t allow pets. No problem. That’s their choice. I was polite and left. I called the rewards company, who kept me on hold while they contacted the hotel—HERE IS THE WHERE I STRONGLY OPPOSE THE HOTEL: Avion asked for a cancellation at the hotel’s discretion, which the hotel declined because “it is listed in the hotel amenities”. It is not. So, consider the moral implications of receiving payment for services you could not and did not render. If the check in time had passed, I might have understood. This is at best, bad business, and at worst, theft. Not the pet policy, the receipt of funds for which nothing was offered. I would love to have sorted this out with management, but they do not publish their contact info.
