The room was very clean, the staff were lovely and the complimentary breakfast was very good. Although it’s not in the best location downtown, we never once felt unsafe. We would for sure stay here again :)

The room was cozy and full of amenities; upgrade to a suite if you have the chance. They personalized the tv so it welcomes you by name as you walk in. Very inviting and personal. My RAVE is for Roy in the breakfast area. He was very accommodating, gracious and informative. The breakfast was top notch! Thanks for a wonderful start to the New Year.
- MIMother May IJan 1, 20263.0Location is awful. It's sad to see downtown Calgary at a low like this. Just outside the hotel doors there's a large homeless population. The library is walking distance which is nice, but it's a sketchy minute walk. Inside the library there's a second cup, really nice coffee option close by. The service all around is so so. I asked the server in the lobby if he'd like to take out order - he was texting. He was nice but service isn't what it used to be. In the elevator there's a big sign advertising happy hour, 50% off appies and has a picture of martinis. We go to take advantage of this and the server says there's no drinks on special, just $1 off beer & 25% off appies. I showed him the sign he said it was wrong. Doubtful we'll stay again but nice to get the experience to be housed somewhere new.

Bed wasn't very comfortable and I think they should mention on their website about how loud the ctrain is as it goes up until 2am. Great breakfast selection that was fresh and filling. The staff were attentive and great people. We would definitely stay again, just request a room further from the ctrain.
