  Was here for a conference at the end of January. Hotel is on a busy street corner, noisy during the day and seedy at night. Our room was a King Studio. It was really expensive for what we got. There had been no conference rate rooms left when we booked two months in advance. Pros: downtown, close to C-train station and can walk most places in 15 minutes. Hotel staff was excellent, always eager to help. Breakfast was very good, although there is no limited seating. Great pool and hot tub. Grocery store and a few shops almost across the street. Cons: Hotel is older and seriously needs renovations. Price doesn't reflect property or room (I guess the fact that it is downtown means it costs more). Area is seedy, especially at night. Lots of homeless people and stink of marijuana everywhere outside. Hotel doors are usually locked even during the day and nearby stores have security guards (Calgary needs some downtown revitalization obviously). Lots of sirens day and night. Bedroom was small and pull out couch mattress was so bad, it should be thrown out. I put three blankets on the mattress to try to cover the springs. Limited seating for breakfast area and tables in front of the door meant a cold blast of air everytime someone entered or left the hotel

  We are currently staying at this hotel and are having such a wonderful experience! From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere has been welcoming, clean, and comfortable. The rooms have been well-maintained, spacious, and equipped with everything we need for a relaxing stay. Every team member we’ve interacted with has been professional, kind, and genuinely eager to help. Their attentiveness and positive energy have not gone unnoticed. It’s clear that customer service is a priority here, and it makes all the difference. Our unique needs and requirements have been met with customized attention, ensuring a smooth stay. A special shoutout to the staff for consistently taking care of us: from GM Sam Ross to Deigo, Melody, Myka, Kate, Marco, Maylyn(super helpful!), and my special shoutout to Maryna and Analyn in housekeeping! You've all been amazing! (I also ran into someone in the elevator who was from the sales department. I apologize for not asking her name but she was super polite and initiated conversation to ask how my stay had been. I really appreciated that! Editted to add: it was Ramandeep! Ty!) We’re looking forward to the rest of our stay and would absolutely recommend this hotel!

  Very disappointed with my experience. I went to the hotel to drop off my brother, who was staying there, and parked in their designated parking lot for approximately 5 minutes. During that short time, my vehicle’s driver side window was smashed and items were taken. For a hotel that charges premium rates, I expected a much higher level of security. It is extremely concerning that this happened so quickly on hotel property. Guests and visitors should feel that their vehicles are reasonably safe when parked at the hotel. I hope management takes security concerns more seriously moving forward.
