The location of the hotel is near a homeless, shelter and extremely dangerous with a lot of homeless lingering around the hotel. There is also a time where the hot tub was not hot at all, and it was going to be hours before it was going to be hot because apparently they put freshwater in the hot tub every day but what I don’t understand is why they don’t put in warm fresh water and have the jets going. If they had just had the Jets going from the time they put the freshwater in then it would’ve been fine. Also, this should be a maintenance thing that is dealt with while the pool is closed or not while it is open. Also, there seem to be some sort of swimming class occurring in the swimming pool during our stay?

The hotel itself is beautiful — spacious, spotless, and very comfortable. The inside lounge and restaurant are both excellent, with delicious food and a relaxed, welcoming vibe. The location has its ups and downs. The streets around the hotel are nice and easy to navigate, but there are quite a few displaced people in the surrounding area, especially near the city library. I even saw police assisting some individuals nearby, and it can feel a little uncomfortable at times — particularly at night. That said, I can see that the city is working hard to clean things up, and I truly appreciate those efforts. Despite that one concern, I absolutely plan to stay here again. It’s a fantastic hotel with great service and amenities — I’d just recommend exploring the neighborhood during the daytime rather than late at night.

The 4 stars come because the area is populated by homeless people that makes the area unsafe at night. The owners and authorities should clean the area. Very nice area but oh boy, the daily scenes you have to watch, are depressing.
