Not bad. Affords a fairly good view of the approach path to Runways 17L and 17R from the north-facing rooms and also a good view of 17R from the south-facing rooms.

Disappointing Experience – Lacks Basic Brand Standards
My recent stay did not meet the expectations of a well-established hotel brand.
I was told the shuttle service runs until 11:00 PM, but when I arrived and called, I was informed the shuttle was already full and was simply told to book a cab myself. The response was unprofessional. If a shuttle is advertised, there should be a clear and consistent policy, or guests should be informed in advance about limitations.
There is also a lack of standardization across properties. Basic services like shuttle availability and breakfast inclusion vary by location, which is confusing and not what one expects from a branded hotel.
The room itself had maintenance issues—the light was flickering constantly and became so annoying that I had to turn it off to sleep. This should have been fixed before assigning the room.
Additionally, when I extended my stay by one more day, the process was unnecessarily complicated. I was asked to come down, check out, return the key, check in again, and my credit card was held twice. Other hotels handle extensions seamlessly in the background without disturbing the guest. This process feels outdated and inefficient.
Overall, the hotel needs to improve service consistency, maintenance checks, and operational processes to match modern brand standards.

This is a terrible place to stay, costumer service is about as poor as I have ever seen it at any hotel/motel. Room was not cleaned, we found pills and staples just sitting on the carpet a vacuum should have been picked up had the room be cleaned properly between guests. We found it cheaper to order food from skip and paying delivery charges instead of paying a 20% premium on the total bill for room service, which according to the restaurant staff is a mandatory charge for room service from the hotel. So if you order one $26 dollar burger you pay $5.2 for delivery but if you order food for 6 people you would pay over 35 dollars to have your food take the same 2 minute elevator ride up to your room. Or you can pick it up yourself for no charge. Making their room service a complete joke for their already very over priced food. The front desk staff also has the same useless level of support. We called the hotel ahead of time as we were travelling with 2 vehicles. Our second vehicle was ahead and we confirmed with the hotel that it would be acceptable if our kids, ages 17,18, 19,21 would be able to check in ahead of us. We were asked for their information and told it would not be an issue. When the kids arrived 20 minutes later, they were told they could not check in as they did not have a credit card on them. When we arrived almost an hour later and after already calling plus our kids already trying to check in the front desk manager was not prepared for our arrival taking an additional 20 minutes to check us in as he authorized the keys in slow motion and took payment for the rooms and the room deposit at that time. The following day it took a second front desk manager 20 minutes to charge us again for the rooms using some excuse the last staff member processed the payments incorrectly. Then proceeded to tell us the charges from the night before which already included the cost of the rooms and the room deposit would not be refunded to our card for about 5 days. We just disputed the first charge with our credit card company because it was very likely we were double billed for the rooms. To top everything else off my son left a pair of shoes in the room and after calling them 2 times, the first call disconnect after almost 25 minutes on hold surprisingly enough the shoes were not found and we were instructed to call tomorrow as the cleaning staff had gone home for the day. I guess if stuff is found left behind the front desk staff is not notified of it from the cleaning staff because that would make too much sense for their costumers to be able retrieve their belongings the same day they were left. Apparently when stuff is left behind it takes days for the cleaning staff to decide if they want to keep it first before notifying the front desk. That way costumers who are usually from out of town have to make a special trip to retrieve it instead of just picking it up while they are still in Calgary. Then again we already know the rooms are not cleaned properly or at all so there is just as good of a chance the next guests staying in that room will find the shoes long before the cleaning staff does. I would never stay at this hotel again. I will likely avoid Holiday inn all together in the future. The level of service was horrendous. The quality of the room was subpar, it was not clean, there was fungus in the shower around the soap dishes and the pillows labeled firm were more flat than the top sheet. Holiday Inn used to be a top choice for our family, it’s a shame the hotel chain has fallen so far.

Stayed hear for 30+ days , room was horrible and when I completed it taken the 2 weeks for fixing it. Did not refill the soap for a week, stole my personal organic cotton towel, coffee pods ware not refiled.
Most people will not know the difference if you staying hear for short time expect better when you book for 30 days and speak to management about room issues from the start, the staff constantly changes which might be root issue.

Great service and location.
Beds are terribly uncomfortable. Pillows are fluffed pancakes. The shower drain stop doesn't stay open so you can enjoy a foot soak while you shower. It's clean and does the job but I wouldn't stay multiple nights
