They required the card to be present for the damage deposit even though I booked and paid for the room using hotels.Com . I lost my wallet and came from Edmonton /out of town. Extremely useless situation . I drive a service truck that’s tied to DOT and had run out of usable hours and legally could not drive !!!
- PRPatag Highlands ReservationsAug 27, 20211.0Every corner of the room was dusty: the entire leather sofa, lampshade, ice bucket, toilet dispenser, microwave, keurig, refrigerator. There was a bag of bread full of molds left inside a cabinet, crumbs inside the microwave, and some stains inside the refrigerator. Water was dripping from the airconditioner and the carpet was of course wet. Intercom wasn’t working at all. Shower curtain was filthy. The sofa bed had stain underneath and some hair on the chair. We didn’t know if they touched the room to clean. We arrived at 2 am anticipating that our room was ready and tidy but needed to wait half an hour for an available room but still we got the worst room ever in our entire lives. The only solution they can have is to give us a complimentary stay on our next visit to the hotel. Who would go back with such horrible room? Up until now the management has not responded to our complaints despite several calls and voice mails we made a letter of complaint sent to IHG. - MBMadelynn BryksMar 20, 20174.0Location of the hotel is alright, there is a few restaurants in walking distance, Ricki's all day grill, Original Joes and a few others, South Centre Mall is also about a 5 min drive away, and a descent mall. Rooms where nice, roomy felt more open than the usual 2 queen rooms, had a window you could open, pool with waterslide great for the kids, breakfast was also really good here, we stayed with a soccer team of 20 girls and there where also other teams staying and they didn't run out of anything during the breakfast rush and staff was extremely on top of cleaning the tables as soon as one became available, they had egg omlets with a salsa sauce and ham inside, scrambled eggs, sausages, and a pancake maker. Have never seen the pancake maker before. Very cool press a button and out comes however many pancakes you choose. Yummy and fresh . Staff was good and friendly. My only complaint would be the cleanliness of the room. My bathroom tap had water spots all over it..It didn't look clean and there's a bench next to the TV , my daughter's clothes slipped off the side onto the floor which was next to the wall and when she picked them up they where covered in dust, so the room is obviously not being thoroughly cleaned. Other than that everything was good!
