  I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel! The staff were super friendly and accommodating. They let us check in early and were always happy to provide towels for the pool etc. The room had clearly been recently renovated, and was huge. I was impressed with the included breakfast too. It was the perfect family hotel.

  Be aware. This is an older hotel sandwiched into what is some very expensive real estate. 1. The hotel has free parking, but it is underground parking with space for only 80% of the guests (per front desk). You then have to find a spot on the street, which could be hundreds of yards away. There is no surface parking lot. And if you have a roof box or large vehicle you won't fit in the garage. 2. The breakfast area is the smallest and most crowded of any I have seen. The food is standard eggs and sausage etc. And it will spill into the lobby due to crowding. I bought my own breakfast food and ate in my room. You will be rubbing elbows with other guests if your timing is off. And be prepared for LOTS of kids 3. The pool is very small and easily gets crowded. I don't like a hot tub with 6 people in it, and don't forget all the kids. The lobby is very small but the staff was friendly, the room OK and clean. But the pricing was quite expensive, probably due to it being Easter weekend. I can't imagine what it is like in the summer when Banff really gets crowded. I would not stay there again. In fact Banff itself seems like a classic tourist trap with TONS of people milling about. Definitely not up to expectations. The Best Western Plus in Revelstoke is a MUCH better hotel.

  This is a great hotel! The employees are so friendly and go out of their way to make you feel important! The room was very clean and our view was of the beautiful mountains! They offered breakfast until 10:00! That is great for our family. They have a parking garage for free. Street parking requires a permit because Banff is in a Canadian national park. This hotel was within walking distance of the entire town. Great hotel and the mid-week prices were amazing. This picture is at Sunshine Village Ski resort.

  Our room in 3rd floor has the view of the mountain and the pool too which is a great to have. They do clean their pool and hot tub but the depth of their pool is not for beginner and they dont have a life vest incase. Breakfast is great because only few hotels offers breakfast in banff but the dining area is pretty tight so we have to eat in their lobby area. Facility is in good condition. Our room is clean, that I could say. Their staffs are friendly, all their staffs in our stay. The distance from DT of Banff to hotel is about 15 to 20mins. They have an elevator from underground which is great. But underground parking is tight and has a narrow ceiling clearance. Overall, we still enjoyed our stay in this hotel. Hope they could provide a life vest in thr future for guest for adults and children. Room 305

  Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Best Western Plus Banff International Lodge, which provided a comfortable and well-appointed retreat in the heart of the mountains. The room was spacious and clean, and the children were particularly thrilled that the large screen TV came equipped with Netflix, making our evening downtime effortless. We were impressed by the professional service and the quality of the breakfast, but a standout highlight for the adults was the impressive variety of free coffee available, which added a lovely touch of luxury to our mornings. Overall, the combination of modern amenities and a welcoming atmosphere made for a truly memorable family getaway that we would gladly recommend to others.
