    The customer experience has been so frustrating, omg! I canceled the plan even before it started. I had scheduled for an installation. I have an email and everything that says someone will be coming home between a particular time period and make sure to be home so I clear my schedule to do that. No one shows up. I had to go through 3 phone calls with 3 different customer care personnels until I finally asked to just cancel everything. First one said someone will call me in 30 mins to confirm they are coming for the setup and then ghosted. An hour later the a second person told me to get my own “cable” and “plug it.” Plug what to what? I tried to ask and they were just confused! Finally frustrated I call the third time and a third different person tells me they can’t find an installation scheduled in their system and they can schedule one after 8 days when there is a free slot! No, I have waited 10 days for this empty slot of installation, you cannot ask me to wait another week and one day for the next empty slot. I asked them to cancel and they were happy to do so :) I am glad I didn’t begin this service!

    Although I had SIGNIFICANT difficulties with scheduling my technician visit (they actually cancelled my appointment without giving me notice), the technician that installed fiber, Tyler, was well briefed, kind, empathetic, incredibly patient, and extremely experienced. Couldn't have asked for a better person for the job! Thank you, Tyler!

    Can’t speak to Astound’s service yet since it was just installed but Breeland was a very friendly and patient technician who got the job done quick!

    I’ve only had terrible experiences with Astound. Choose a different Internet service provider and save yourself the headache. The most frustrating thing is that you can’t seem to trust what “customer service” says on the phone. First, they were offering a gift card as part of a new customer promo. We had to pester them over the phone MULTIPLE TIMES just to get this gift card. Each time we called, they said they would mail it out but didn’t until we called them several times. We once lost our internet for several hours and when a technician finally came to fix it in our home, we were charged almost $80 just for it to be fixed. We lost internet access and yet we were the one charged for it!! It was absolutely ridiculous. When I called about it, Astound told me that they would refund only half the amount. I called again since I didn’t understand why we were being charged, and they promised me to refund the entire amount. However, on my next month’s bill, I was only refunded half. It’s been incredibly frustrating and time consuming to deal with Astound’s terrible service. I’ve had much better and simpler experiences with other ISPs in the area.

    Astound is the absolute worst . If you have any other options use them. It should be zero stars if that were an option. There is no other service provider in my area so I have no other options. I’ll get ahead of the response with my name and an explanation point as if I have a positive review. There will be a response, as there is with all bad reviews, supporting their business.
