    Checked in as soon as I walked in because of the 4 people in front of me. Demetrius appologized for the wait and the rowdy kids but thats to be exspected so late in the day. He was very accommodating with my questions and equipment set up.

    The business side of this company is absolutely garbage. Set up service on November 24, 2025. I have several locations so all billing is sent to my PO BOX. Got a notice on January 21, 2026 that I had a past due amount. Researched the account and saw that I had not received an invoice. Sent in a check for the full amount and called COX to inquire what billing address they had on file. The rep refused to talk to me because he said I was not on the account. I have the original agreement that clearly shows all of my information. They also would not tell me where the bills were being sent because I was not on the account. They made me complete an Account Holder Update Packet to include myself on the account, which I did. I submitted the original contract and a print out of the chat when I originally set up the account which they accepted as prof that I was the authorized person. I also explained that I had mailed a check for the full amount. On Friday January 30, 2026 COX suspended my service for non-payment which caused me to lose business. I called and had the service re-established about an hour later. Funny thing is while talking to the rep on January 30th she said that two bills were sent to my PO BOX in my name prior to the suspension. I questions this because when I called on January 21st they stated that I was not on the account and they could not talk to me! Makes no sense! The rep on January 30th also stated that she did not see any notes on the account prior to me submitted the Account Holder Update Agreement. An absolute joke! I have just filed a formal complaint with the FCC and BBB and submitted all of the supporting documents for their review.

    I attempted to give Cox a change despite their horrible reputation. The online order process was a terrible experience. I had to “call” to confirm my order. I was told my credit check went through and I didn’t need a deposit. Then I received an email stating I need a deposit. Then I called in and I didn’t need a deposit, I needed to answer questions or come into a store somewhere to show two forms of identification because my credit supposedly had a “lock” on it. I am buying $40/mo or internet. Why do I need to go through all of this trouble to get it? Verizon didn’t have any issues pulling my credit. Not only that, but when I called in the lady was pretty rude and left me in silence for several minutes at a time. No updates. Just left me wondering if we were even on the phone still. Claimed it was because her computer was slow, but I could hear her typing the whole conversation. Idk. I’ll probably never use Cox.
