    Love cox as a whole but rude service at this store tho, refused to listen to what I was told by an employee. Rather than taking fault in giving misinformation they shifted the blame back to me, was not willing to hear the dilemma in the provided false information, apparently also does not notate the accounts which is concerning when discussing account issues.

    I ultimately want to give credit where it is due. After escalating my concerns, Cox Billing and the Corporate Resolution Team reviewed my accounts, identified an error, transferred funds appropriately, and worked to correct the issue. I appreciate their efforts and the prompt response I received from corporate. However, the process of getting to that resolution was far more difficult than it should have been. I made multiple attempts to resolve an account issue involving a move and two separate accounts. During a visit to the Williamsburg store - with Lisa specifically , I was told there was no issue with my account and that I was not owed any credit or refund. I was also told there was no reason for me to be there regarding the matter and was walked to the door. After continuing to pursue the issue through Billing (while staying in the store which upset her ..) Cox ultimately discovered an account error, transferred funds, and issued credits. My concern is not that a mistake occurred. Mistakes happen. My concern is that a legitimate issue was dismissed before it was properly investigated. Customers should feel heard when they are trying to resolve a billing concern, especially when the concern later proves to be valid. While I appreciate the resolution provided by Billing and the Corporate Resolution Team, I hope Cox continues to improve communication and customer service at the local level so that customers do not have to spend hours pursuing an issue before receiving help.

    If you’re having an issue with Cox i recommend coming to their store front. My experience could not have been smoother and more professional. My 5 star rating is for this location and the employees here. I’ve been dealing with a number of issues with Cox over the last 3 months. I had issues go unresolved or arise from using their chat, phone (overseas call centers of course), automated texts, emails, and a very very rude local contractor. I was charged wrongly for 3 months of service, and told that I needed to hand in equipment Id purchased on amazon and at Best Buy. Stepping into the store resolved my issues and showed me that I should’ve just set aside the time to go to the store when this all started. I was ready to go to the BBB with how infuriating the call centers and local contractor texting me had become. I’m writing this because I really feel the staff at this location deserve some credit for reversing my completely negative interactions with Cox over the last 3 months.
