We were helped by Adam Veith for the purchase of our new iPhones and transfer of services from two other carriers. The phones were delivered the next day and we came in. We were helped by Adam in a timely manner and he was super helpful and great to deal with. Highly recommend going with Spectrum for your cable, internet and cellular services for a great price and even better service. Thank you…

We have internet with Cox. Our router had to be replaced. The staff member was friendly, efficient, and quick when he helped us. He made the process painless.

TODAY!!! 7/28/26 My mother visited Cox Communications located on Virginia Beach Blvd. Virginia Beach to simply to return a cable box that had been issued through Cox. What should have been a routine customer service interaction turned into an extremely disturbing and traumatic experience. Upon walking in, she explained that she was returning the equipment. Instead of assisting her professionally, an employee became confrontational and denied her explanation. During the interaction, an employee identified to us as “Taz” was the initial contact, while another employee—a heavyset white male bid that she come and he would help her—yet… became increasingly hostile. This both employees raised their voice at my mother, spoke to her in a belligerent and demeaning manner, as if she were a child, snatched the cable box from the counter, and threw it underneath the counter. When my mother requested a receipt confirming the return of the equipment, Taz refused to provide one and told her that if she wanted a receipt, she could “sit and wait” because he was not going to give her one. As the situation escalated, my mother repeatedly asked for someone else who could assist her without yelling at her. Plenty of customers were present, but No employee intervened to de-escalate the situation or provide respectful customer service. Attempting to resolve the misunderstanding, my mother contacted her apartment manager and asked the employee to speak with the manager to verify that the apartment complex had no contract requiring the equipment and that the equipment had been obtained through that Cox location. The apartment manager confirmed, but Taz arrogantly refused to speak with the apartment manager, continued looking past my mother while speaking, dismissed her concerns, and continued addressing her in a disrespectful and condescending manner. My mother ultimately left the store crying, humiliated, and emotionally traumatized. Since this incident, she has experienced significant emotional distress, including loss of appetite and difficulty processing what occurred. No customer—especially an older adult simply attempting to return company equipment—should ever be treated in this manner. This store needs to be audited for poor customer service. If you need good customer service where the employees are respectful, AVOID THIS STORE! Also, be sure to read other reviews so that you are not a victim of this traumatizing experience! I WILL BE CONTACTING ATLANTA HEADQUARTERS!
