- MMMitch MJun 22, 20261.0Get in as a new customer, get out as soon as your original pricing is changed. They will not tell you when your bill is going to go up to $70 a month and then not tell you when it goes up again to $85 a month. My internet is currently not working and it was going to take 4 days to get a technician to come fix it. Not only that, but they were going to charge over $70 for the service technician to come. I opted to cancel after their website told me I could have internet for $45 per month for life when I went to check if there was an internet outage (there was no outage). The $45 per month for life is for new customers. When I told them I was going to cancel, they threatened that I wouldn't have internet after I disconnected (remember, they're equipment is already not working so I already don't have internet for the next 4 days). Leaving Astound to become an appreciated new customer elsewhere.
