- TMTeresita MirandaJun 26, 20261.0My service quit working at the end of May beginning of June, Atound could not send someone out to fix the issue for 10 days, as I had family working from home. I had to call around find a new provider and switch. I did not wish to do that but astound representative did not care. So, now they want me to pay for the full June bill at $108 when my invoice was only $46 because they tested the 1000 megs for a few days to see if this might fix the issue. I just received the invoice with $108 bal for June, they removed the auto pay credit and billed for the new speed which they never removed. Also, they never mentioned the final invoice at the time of the service request disconnect and I was shocked to find out they don't prorate. This is so unethical and highly unprofessional. I tried talking to them thru customer service chat service and all they could do was say is "im really sorry about that" once I mentioned I had to place a BBB complain they stopped the chat convesation immediately and refused to continue talking to me. Yeah, I do not recommend this company at all.

- CCChristianMay 14, 20261.0This has nothing to do with the local astound shop in Canby, however it has everything to do with their 24/7 sales team. I was essentially told this was a true FTTH optic fiber internet. Spoiler alert, it's not. Sold a lie, tech came out installed everything. However i realized it was way quicker than normal. I asked the tech if it's true optic fiber, they said yes, but the clearly do not know the difference from coaxial vs true optic fiber connection. To make a long story short if you need true Fiber. Go to Direct link across the street, sure you pay a smaller premier, but it's worth it. They have local customer support, and a true Optic connection.
